A short gravel road off the highway leads to this BLM-managed fishing access area along the Green River, developed in partnership with Wyoming Game and Fish and private landowners. The site has two or three camping areas with fire rings and picnic tables, plus a vault toilet. No drinking water or trash dumpsters are available, so campers need to pack accordingly. Cell signal is reportedly strong. Bugs can be heavy, and highway noise carries to the site. Anglers and drift boaters will find this a functional base for camping near Big Piney or a straightforward river access stop, with stays permitted up to the BLM's 16-day limit.
