Great place to camp and fish!

We caught a huge rainbow trout the first day camping, right off our campsite! Minimal bugs considering we were so close to the water, nice and quiet!

Sitewe stayed just outside the campground

Nice stop over

We pulled in the evening and just stayed for one night but it was a nice little spot.  Small campground but seems like you could easily pull off and camp nearby if it were full.  Pit toilets were clean.  No water on site and no stores nearby so make sure to bring your water with you.  Recommend following the signs and not google maps - google was telling us to drive down a rough road but the signs took us to a road that was much easier... still gravel and washboard in spots but no major potholes. Our main issue was the lack of phone service - according to this listing there is service and we had some service driving through the wildlife refuge but did not have service at the actual campground (we have AT&T).

Amazing spot for me and my buddy from Fort Collins

We camped on the way back from Yellowstone here one night and it was absolutely amazing. Easy well maintained dirt road on the way in and there is a dumpster and bathroom you can use on the main campground. Didn’t check to see if they had showers pretty sure they don’t. Great spot will plan on going back

Great little campground below Fontenelle dam.

Different sized sites to accommodate tent camping or RV. River access and great fishing. Sites have picnic tables and fire rings that include a cooking grate. Many sites also have a grill. Campground is pet and ATV friendly. Nice little camping spot, does get busy on the weekends.
