Wonewoc Legion Park

We were lucky enough to have this beautiful little gem all to ourselves. The campground is super quiet, clean and very well maintained. It’s located about 40 minutes away from the Wisconsin Dells and has easy access to the 400 State bike trail. We took the Dells boat tour and enjoyed biking through the beautiful surrounding countryside and sampling the delicious goods at Wonewoc’s farmer’s market. Everywhere we went, people were so kind and helpful. We look forward to stopping in again.

Legion Park has 10 electric sites located in a pretty city park. Discount if you don't want electric. 2 of the sites are shaded by huge white pines and the others are in an open field. The park is clean and well maintained. It has a public swimming pool open from 1 until 6 and playground equipment. Showers can be taken at the pool when open, firewood and wifi are included, toilets are potapottis and were very clean. The park is away from traffic noise and was quiet when we stayed in August.
