Run by a couple who live on-site near a lake outside Baraboo, Green Valley Campground operates on an honor-system payment model: campers pay for their site and firewood at a drop box, with no need to coordinate around office hours. Sites vary in table count and fire ring size. Lighting along the entrance road is limited, so arriving after dark takes some navigation. Quartzite Campground at Devils Lake State Park is roughly two miles east for campers who want a public-land alternative.
Description
A quaint, family owned and operated, friendly campground for those who still enjoy the peace and serenity nature has to provide! Very close to Devils Lake, Historic Downtown Baraboo, and The Wisconsin Dells.
