Bass fishing

Pros: Fishing was awesome. Lots of largemouth bass. Really good size. Roughly 15”-18” bass that are 3-4lbs. Healthy and chunky. Caught a few walleyes. 20” plus size. Just gotta find them with your fish finder.

Cons: Watch out for logs. Lots of tree stumps in shallow areas. Very green water. Low water clarity.

Overall, it’s a great lake to fish. You won’t be disappointed.

Otter Lake Chippewa County Parks

If your looking for a quiet, remote, good fishing camp Otter Lake is the right choice. Beautiful day park for scenic views for a picnic. Private camp sites. Some have private docks. Excellent fishing for Panfish, Bass, and Walleyes.
