Rasar State Park

We stayed in Elk Camp, group sites for RV and tent camping. The spaces were quiet and somewhat private. The showers/bathrooms were clean. Very well kept areas. The hiking trails were great, with access to the Skagit River, and beautiful views!

Right on the river

Site was clean well maintained. Easy access to the river. There is no plumbed water on site but there are a couple of vault toilets and dumpsters available. If following google maps it may have you drive past the entrance, but there is a turn around once you realized you missed it.

Remote, yet close to the city

We went here for our test run of our RV. Nice quiet area in great forest. Lots of hiking around, if you can find the loop. Electrical only. No water or sewer at the site.

Friendly, quiet, great location

We've now stayed at this campground twice.  It's a bit unique as half the sites are KOA and half are Thousand Trails, but both sections are serene, well maintained, and peaceful.  We use this campground as a jumping off point for kayaking adventures into the North Cascades.

Great !

We (family of 4) stayed here for two nights. Our 4 & 7 year old had a great time hiking the easy trails, fishing, exploring and chatting with other campers. Very close (1hr) to Seattle, but far enough to forget the city. Spaces were spread well, not cramped together. C.C.C. Trail access off…

Very nice smaller park

RV sites 1, 2, 4, 9, and 11 will be easier to back in to. The other full hook up sites are 90° approaches. Very nice park for playground and a very nice venue building. A lot of picnic tables in the open and in the shade of trees.
Small rocky beach only accessable when the is not to…

Lovely spot

This place had great communication, great hosts, a very clean bathroom and laundry. Awesome club house too! You can tell it’s a lot of long timers, and the place is pretty small. So I felt like I was annoying my neighbors every time I walked to the club house or shut the door. But other then that…

Cozy Spot

Cute campground very close to Seattle and Bellevue right on the lake. Beautiful beach area, basketball courts, playground, and volleyball right at the site. Spots are a little tight. Looks like they cater mostly to day use and corporate events during season. But they do take great care of the…

Nice campground in the woods

I've stayed here many times over the years. I love how quiet and woodsy it is here. Lots of fun spots along the river to enjoy. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked.

Private Campground!

Private group campground with 7 sites. River access. Vault toilet, no water. Road noise during busy times can be a bit much. Beautiful views from camp. No cell service!

Nice Weekend Escape from Seattle

We stayed here Saturday-Sunday in late May. The campground was nice and clean, but the sites were pretty close together. We were able to make it work, even with our dog-reactive dog, though. Recommend campsite 48 as it seemed to be one of the most private ones. The beach was lovely and not at all…

Beautiful and fun but tight sites

We had a blast at Fay Bainbridge. There was tons to do for our toddler, and lots of opportunities for us to enjoy the part too. The views are incredible and beautiful is beautiful. Our only complaint is the campsites are VERY close together. We are thankful so many people can enjoy the beautiful…
