Big site almost no wifi

If you need wifi to plan your next days this location is not for you. Wifi available at the lodge only and very slow. Except for that the site is big, nothing specific regarding amenities

It’s a nice campground

I like this campground well enough. They are very rule oriented so read the rules. Slots are nice and big, very few sewer sites. Close to the freeway. It’s convenient but you can definitely hear the freeway. It’s very safe and clean.

Nice Rangers

We originally were going to stay for 2 weeks (but the Campground we were going to afterward was closed by corporate for electrical repairs) so the very nice park ranger, Linda, was able to extend our stay here another week. There are a limited number of sewer sights you can get on a wait list for. We asked about being put on that list and the very nice ranger, Amanda/Mandy?, said one just became available so we took it. All the power poles, water, sewer hookups all look in good order. A few sites are reserved with a permanent sign, for RV's larger than 35' which is nice. There are some sites that are leased and a few of those are in a very neglected state. Most sites have a lot of pine trees so are very shaded. There is a cute store at the lodge, opened on a limited basis due to short staffing and COVID-19. The pool was open everyday, but the spa closed for" maintenance" half way through our stay. We didn't use either, or the restrooms. They do have "proximity" sites next to the restrooms. The roads and sites are gravel, but seem to be maintained. There are a few hills that might be a problem for larger Class A's with a trailer. We really liked our stay and would come back. Only drawback is the proximity to I-5, but if you bring ear plugs it's okay.

Just Don't

If you're looking for a pass through RV park, skip this one. You'll regret your visit and just certainly leave frustrated. Security is non existent and this is more of a transient and full time resident hang out.
