    East Sullivan

Beautiful lake, nature, above average campground

The established campgrounds at East Sullivan and West Sullivan are typical well-maintained Forest Service campgrounds. The vault toilets are clean, the water pipes put out good water, and there is plenty of space between sites (though you can still expect to hear your neighbors). Because there are no water/RV hook-ups, the place tends to be a little quieter.

The lake itself is amazing. Perfect temperature for swimming on a hot day, clean as glass, rocky/sandy bottom and no weeds. We kayaked about half-way up the East side and found a private picnic/beach and spent the day there swimming and reading.

    Deer Park RV Resort

    Beautiful spot

After boondocking for the previous two nights this was a much needed oasis. High class operation. The name is confusing. It's actually the Deer Park RV Resort. It's right on the golf course. Seems to be a lot of long term campers. Put your trash out and they come by and pick it up in the morning. If you need propane, you set your bottle at the curb they will fill it and return it to your cradle. Beautiful bathhouse. Pool. A little pricey but worth it.

This RV Park offers some long term sites. WIFI is offered in the Library area only for their guests and is not available through out the park. Pull through sites are long and can fit most RV's. Parking is available at each site at the front or the rear of each site. Laundromat is available consisting of four washers and dryers and is open 24 hours.

    Best Rv park near Silverwood

This place is an absolute gem! All sites now have full hook-ups with water, power and sewer and every site has both 30/50amp. No showers but who needs that when you have full hook-ups. They have a beautiful pool, basketball court, volleyball area and small playground. They even have a shuttle to Silverwood! One the most beautifully kept RV parks we've ever stayed in with spacious sites with grassy area and picnic table at each site. Highly recommend 👌

    Nice!

Typical KOA! Clean, well kept, nice gravel, level sites. Full hook up. Kind and friendly office staff. Nice bathrooms, far enough off the highway that it’s quiet, but close enough to be easy on/off access. I would stay here again!

    Nice Campground, But…

At your campsite your internet must be purchased and 90 % of the time it is unavailable. A complete waste of money. The campground is a combination of KOA and Thousand Trail. Very few of the KOA campsites have sewer hook ups. There are dump sites available. There is also a mobile pumpout service available if you want to pay for it. Shower and toilet facilities were very nice and always clean.

    Little Diamond Newport Washington

We spent a week here and loved it. It is so quiet and peaceful. The sites share electric and water, no sewer and are positioned oddly they are on the off side and in front by the road. Some 30and 50 amp just check the box. The sites are gravel, some what level and size/length varies, a few pull throughs, our 37ft 5ver had no problem. Bathroom showers are ok. Laundry is good. There is a small lake free fishing, didn’t fish. We stayed in the Thousand Trails side, it is a split park with KOA on the other side. Two dump stations, nice lodge/ spa and pool open. AT&T and Sprint were very good. At our site 144

    Perfect 1 Nite Stop

We decided to try out the Cabela’s 48-Hour RV parking for one night. It was the perfect quick rest spot for my spouse and I. Lots of room for all trailer types with places for horses and dogs. The parking area is marked with signs for RVs. It sits to the left of the building.

    Liberty Lake RV Campground

Looks like a parking lot with RVs

This is a newer RV park in Liberty Lake. They have only been open 2 years. Liberty Lake is between Spokane, WA and Coeur d’Alene ID. There are about 130 spaces or so, with concrete pads and paved streets. There is grass between sites, but they are much too close to be comfortable, and there is no shade! And, the rules!!! Lots more rules than most other camping areas.’ It also appears many of the residents are semi-permanent. They have free cable snd wifi, a dog park, playground, swimming pool, laundry, and dump station. The sites are 30/50 amp, most are pull through but the outer ring is back in. They also have propane. They are on the pricy side: an outside loop 50 ft. Site is $74/night. Good Sam gets you a 10% discount. It is easy access to I-90 both East and west.

Really wish there were more septic hookups

This park is very well-maintained by the on-site hosts. Very nice, and green grass areas between all of the sites. There is a decently stocked main clubhouse where are you check in, that also has a very nice pool connected to it. They also have a nice on-site playground and basketball court for kids to play. The sites are decent size and we were able to park our 28 for a trailer and park our full-size pick up sideways in the site. The only downside, and our oversight was not all of the units have sewer hook up. The owner had mentioned there are only 23 full hook ups a lot of time in the park, so plan your stay way ahead. If you only have a water and electric hook up there is still an on-site dump station. Considering how close this park is to Silverwood it was worth I’m going without the sewer hook up.

    Kootenai County Fairgrounds RV Park

    Kootenai County Fairgrounds RV Park

We were very pleased with this RV park! We stayed for two nights so my wife could attend a conference. This facility is located very near the general Fairgrounds and next to the horse park. No horses are allowed at the campground but stables are very near by in the Fairgrounds. The sites are all pretty level with the parking areas paved. Grass and groomed gravel areas too. There are various sized sites most are back in. When checking online, and that's where you must reserve your site, there is a very good map with the site lengths listed. Our number 1 site was over 60 feet long and large for our 34 foot long 5th wheel and our Chevy truck. Most of the sites are full hookup with 30 and 50 amp electric. Water and sewer dump. There is also a sewer dump station with 4 dumps, located just west of this park. There is NO wifi provided in the park, but being pretty centralized in the area, cell service is very good. I had full bars of 4G service on my AT&T 5G phone. There is a building with bathroom and showers available if needed, at the south end of the park. Our site was just along the road and it was pretty noisy but it did calm down at night. Dogs are allowed but must be leashed and picked up after. For a Fairgrounds campground it is a bit pricey compared to the other Fairground Camping we've utilized, this is still a very nice facility and we would and probably will use it again.

    Unknown Campground/RV Park

Not very well publicized RV Park. Hopefully, this will help. We stayed here in July. It's a small park and spaces are close together. There is water and power hookups, and a dump station at the exit. The showers are okay. Could use a more regular cleaning.

    Camp and Theme park

We stayed here in July. It's next to Silverwood theme park, so you can camp the night before, hit the theme park early, and then crash after a fun filled day. The spaces are close and very open. Make sure you reserve the correct power hookup for your RV. RV Park does have things for the family to do, outside the theme park.

    Trestle Creek RV Park

    Owners are snobby.

This campground is in an older couple’s front yard. It’s got a pretty running creek called Trestle Creek running through there yard off of the mountain side. Which they have their property on. They also live on said property, so they are always watching... Beware! Lol Sooo.. They kicked us out because the guy’s wife saw our kitty was on top of another guest’s car... Soo bad! oh! and the other reason: my cat was catching mice and killing them, and we would pick them up as soon as we would see them. Umm.. isn’t that what cats do..? Idk... and they would always complain we were awake all nite when we stayed up til one or two am. We (mom and I) were staying here for 3 months. And were perfectly quiet. They just thought it was odd or something for some reason... I don’t get it. We paid to be there, long term, we’re not keeping anyone up.. what’s the big deal? So ya, and the spots are super duper close next to each other. Like within two feet... yeah.. no privacy. I felt weird sitting outside in my spot with a friend in chairs even. And they frown upon having any visitors come see you. So it’s more of a rich, quiet, pretentious, older people’s camping place.

    Silverwood RV Park

Next Door to Silverwood Theme Park

The best thing about the campsite is that it is the closet place to stay near Silverwood theme park. You can easily walk from your tent right into the park, which makes it super convenient.

There are showers on site and full hook-ups. However, you are camping here to go to the park, not to enjoy camping. Sites have little to no tree cover. If it is hot out your camp will be hot, though chances are you’ll be inside the water park anyway.

While we were there the sprinklers went off in the middle of the night, soaking our tent. Management gave us a free night and moved us for the next night. One weird thing is that you have to place your tent on a hard gravel pad, rather than the green grass (see previous sentence about the sprinklers).

If you have an RV, life is a lot easier at this park. That said, you will not find a closer place to stay, and definitely not as cheap.

    Nice quiet hidden campground

This is our 3rd visit to Liberty Lake Regional Park. It’s a small campground on Liberty Lake just east of Spokane WA. It’s a little hard to get to, and not suitable for large Class A motorhomes!

There are 16 regular RV sites with water & electric, and they have added 3 sites on top of the hill with full hookups. Also 12 tent sites. Close to Spokane. Hiking and horse trails.

Nice little Rv park. Only complaint is that the sites are close together. The asphalt pads themselves are nice sized and ours is pretty level. Tons of mature trees providing shade. Clean on site coin laundry and nice public restrooms. Pricey but if you’re in town for work then the location is great.
