Description

TENT CAMPING NOT CURRENTLY OPEN DURING COVID COVID19 UPDATE: We are open with social distance measures in place. We have our boat launch open, as well as RV Sites and Cabins. We will have public restrooms open during limited hours during the day. Public showers, clubhouse, and laundry room will be closed. If you reserve an RV Site, you will have to be "self contained" and use the restroom facilities in your own RV. Our cabins have a full bathroom inside them already, obviously you can use those without any issues. We will NOT have tent camping open at this time. The boat launch will be open. Safety is our first priority, so anybody using the RV Park in any capacity must heed to social distancing requirements as outlined by the CDC, DOH, and Northeast Tri County Health District. Thank you and stay safe.

Beautiful setting

We were heading to Lake Spokane Campground (LSC) and saw this site as we drove passed and thought it looked beautiful. We were put off by the reviews so carried onto LSC. When we got to LSC we found that it’s not actually on the lake and pretty much all of the sites do not have lake views, so we turned around and headed back to Willow Bay Site. The man (I think the site manager?) at the office was super friendly and accommodating and let us choose our spot (NB the campsite was very quiet - only 5 other RVs). The site really is beautiful - so green and well-kept, respecting the green belt area. I personally like that the pitches aren’t marked out - it saves the grass and gives a lovely meadowy feel! We were just in a camper so I can’t say anything about the hook-ups/water etc. The toilets and showers were not great - It really could do with renovation - it would be a quick 2 week job in winter to get the facilities up to standard so it’s a shame they haven’t done it yet. I also thought $42 was steep given we didn’t have a hook-up. Overall it’s worth it for the wonderful location.

Pretty, but outdated and rundown

Nice appearance, but not desirable. No sewer connection or place to dump. Spaces not well marked and uneven. Bathroom and showers rundown and not cleaned. Other amenities not taken care of.

Great spot!

Willow bay is great! We camped for the 4th of July and made our reservations online on their website. It was super easy. Great location, 10 min to the grocery store and restaurants if you need them! Easy lake access and a great swimming area. Nice grassy camp spots and decent bathrooms with free showers. No cell service, but who needs it when you’re camping!
