We went during Memorial day weekend which is a very busy camping weekend. It's a cool spot and the drive there is beautiful. It's the only campground in the general area meaning it's the only bathroom nearby. I'm sure the experience would be different if it wasn't a busy weekend. The entire time…
Not worth spending your money here!!!! The bathrooms are disgusting and the site you pay for my don’t come with the amenities that you thought you were paying for because the camping site says one thing but willam can jut change the rules because he can I guess!!!!! DO NOT COME HERE
It’s a nice little campground, a little bit tightly packed but good facilities
Nice campground but very desert-ie right so hot in the summer but on the river though so if you have a boat its great.
We have stayed here many times. 10 years ago was one of our favorites. Our families came from all over Oregon and Washington, even California. We came from Missouri. What an amazing family reunion. The park rangers were so nice. They had informed classes about animals in the forest. The Jr…
I always love camping and fishing the valley, this camping ground is free to use. It is very clean and has great fishing during trout season. Make sure you get here early if you have a rv or trailer during the summer as it’s first come, first serve and locals love the place.
Free camping a large area for 4x4's, sxs, motorcycles and atvs.
Dunes are Very busy in the spring and summer. shade can be hard to find.
Nice, clean facility near downtown Walla Walla and convenient to the many wineries.
Stayed Oct. 9th-11th 2020. Decent area. we stayed in site #49. super small. our table was within 6 ft of the next spots sewer drain. the camp spots in the middle of the camping around had terrible grass and no trees. camping stops around the perimeter had good grass and trees.
We dry camped down the road, so my review is from using The Last Resort dump station ($10 fee), and little store. The owners where super friendly and helpful guides of the area. They have cabins, RV sites (a little tight so if you are over 40 feet call ahead), dump station, propane, gas, and water.…
Campground was great, plenty of pull-through spots for our rig. We are 30 amp and was accommodated fine, RV notes are incorrect. Decorations were fun and quirky, front desk ladies were super nice too. Laundry was nice - $2.50 a load, bathrooms were closed due to Covid. Campground only a 5-10 minute…
We stayed here in a tent site (no hookups) on our way back to Portland from Nevada. As an overnight cut-off campground, it’s lovely: Nice-sized sites set in beautiful Oregon forest (we’d been out of state for a couple weeks and REALLY appreciated the trees); clean bathrooms and showers; long “tent”…
Well maintained state park.
So much history in this area. A nice little camp with full hookups, cabins and tent spots. LITERALLY right next to the freeway. Camp host was not friendly and the noise never stopped. Keep on going down the road and look for something else if you’re looking for a true outdoors experience.
Aug. 28th-30th is space #24. Lots of very large spiders everywhere. Mosquitoes were super bad. Nice fire pits but you can't have fires. Showere were decent. They need to be updated. Lots of green grass and lots of shade. All in all not bad. We will be back. Hopefully with less spiders.
