Tucannon River RV Park

Super friendly laid back and old-school owners. Very quiet spot to use as a base to visit The Falls and other attractions in the area. Route 261 coming in from the NW passing by Palouse Falls and the town of Starbuck is EXTREMELY curvy and steep but absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend it UNLESS you have a big rig as the turns are very tight. Also... remember that RV's and Towables are NOT allowed into Palouse Falls park.

This is a really lovely RV park, well cared for, nice owners. It’s pretty small, and it’s got a really peaceful and quiet vibe. The main road is right there but it was surprisingly quiet. There is propane fill here at $3.50/gal, not bad. 

Shower (there’s only one) was nice and clean, 4 quarters for 7 minutes. No laundry facilities here on site. There’s a large book & DVD lending library in the office. There’s zero cell reception here but the wifi was decent, it reached our spot in the back, though it did shut down for a few hours in the night. 

Really liked it here. We used the Passport America discount, and with taxes/fees paid $18 for a FHU pull through site, so roughly double that for full price. There’s not much to do here though if you don’t have a car. No place to walk to, no place to take your dogs to walk. Good if you’re passing through.

The host greeted us were shown the site warned about the irrigation coming on and then left alone. All the sites are water, power and sewer. LVery quiet park kind of out in the middle of nowhere but if you want to visit Palouse falls, this is a great place for your rv base. Found several other local attractions

Lovely, mostly quiet and dark, I called about pitching my tent for a night and they said they had a grassy spot by the bathroom. Very kind folks

This park is a few miles the main highway, but worth the drive. Lots of space between sites, grass, full hook ups. Friendly hosts, very peaceful.

Awesome park near Dayton and Palouse Falls. Absolutely NOTHING, including cell service nearby, which made this open campground in a winter wheat field absolutely perfect!

The hosts/owners are good people, who are accommodating, and welcoming. Will definitely be back and enjoyed the gem.

Side note unrelated to park.... ran into the mother of all dust storms about 40 miles west of here near Othello and ended up posting up in Connelly. Added a day to the trip but was a sight to behold. Wow!!

Finally a park where you have a little space between RVs. Full RV hook-up and internet for $35 per night. The owner drives through the park daily to say "Hi" and check on you visit.

Beautifully maintained campground with friendly camp hosts. Affordable, large pull through sites. Large shade trees in several sites. Some of the most level sites we’ve stayed in. Community fire pit or bring your own to have in your site. Nice bathrooms with showers ($1 in quarters for 7 minutes). Plenty of grass area for kids to play in. Pets welcome. Close to Tucannon and Snake Rivers. Open year round.
