Coyote Run RV Park

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Irrigated grass at each site and a well-maintained loop layout make Coyote Run RV Park a functional stop along the eastern Washington corridor near Connell. The park shares space with an RV storage area and sits close to the highway, so this is a working, utilitarian campground rather than a nature retreat. Pull-through sites on the interior and back-in sites around the perimeter give rigs of most sizes room to maneuver, with the park accommodating RVs up to 75 feet. Verizon users can expect around three bars of cell coverage.

Highway noise is the most consistent note in reviews. Accelerating and decelerating trucks are audible, particularly at night, though most visitors describe the sound as manageable rather than disruptive. Long-term residents make up a visible portion of the park's population, and their well-kept rigs contribute to the overall orderly feel. Cleanliness comes up in the majority of reviews, with the bathrooms, private showers, and laundry room drawing consistent positive mentions. One reviewer notes the sites include "clean indiv showers bathroom" as a reliable baseline.

Full hookups with electric, water, and sewer connections are available, along with WiFi and a dump station. Propane can be purchased on-site. The town of Connell has limited dining options, and restaurants in the area are closed on Sundays, so stocking provisions before arrival is worth planning around. Campers wanting more options in the region can explore campsites near Othello or the nearby Scooteney Reservoir Camping roughly eight miles northwest. Reservations are available year-round.

Good one night stay

We stayed here for one night while traveling and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the bathrooms were clean, and our pull-through site was level and easy to get into. Although the campground is close to the freeway, it sits far enough away that we only heard a little noise from the nearby on-ramp, and it wasn’t bothersome. We’d definitely stay here again for an overnight stop.

Nice place to kick back

In the area to visit relatives. Facilities were clean. People we met were nice and helpful. Propane available to purchase. If visiting check out Country Mercantile about 20 miles south. Good eats!

Great one night

Perfect for a short drive from Portland as we wind our way back to Kansas. Clean, great private showers, nice area for our evening mile walk. Some noise from highway traffic, but not terrible.

Great place for a night

I was skeptical about this place because it is part of an RV storage area and very close to the highway. However, I was pleasantly surprised. It is very well maintained, very neat, irrigated grass for each site. The campground is one loop with back in sites on the perimeter and pull-through sites on the "infield." I had a pull through site that was easy to navigate. Hookups are well maintained. Good Verizon cell service (3 bars). Many long term residents but with well-kept rigs. The town is sleepy at best! Be aware that on Sundays, every restaurant is closed! There is road noise audible inside the rig from accelerating/decelerating trucks but not awful. I did not look at the bathrooms and laundry but they looked very nice.

Great for overnight

This campground was clean and neat and organized. We were just here for a one night's stay on our way to Idaho and it was perfect for that. Plugged in, clean indiv showers bathroom. Nice morning birdsong. Easy on off highway. Several long term residents you can tell by the delicious tomatoes growing.

Decent for a last minute overnight stay

Our tire shredded on our CRV and my husband was nervous to carry our heavy load on a dummy tire so we stopped here which was the closest town. We were the only tent as this is an RV park but had an okay grass patch. One tiny tree. You can tell that there are several long-term residents due to the skirting around so many of the rv's. We were able to get a used tire from the nearby tire shop in the morning and be on our way. Thankful for this place in a time of need. 🙂

Nice overnight stop

Not much around here but if you are driving by this place is clean and reasonable. They have a very wide road through the park which is nice and long pull-through sites. They only have 50 amp & we needed 30 but mgr let me borrow an adapter. Would stay again if passing by.

Great small town

This is a nice, clean park. Has tent sites, back ins, pull thrus, and has bathrooms and a laundry room onsite. Sometimes you can hear the freeway traffic but not bad. The host are super friendly and amazing. The people who live here year round are also nice.
