We stayed at Cheatham Annex for a week. I liked that they had paved lots and the lots were spacy. The area was quiet as well. You’re kind of far from any shopping grocery store and restaurants. But other than that not a bad place.

Bath house with hot showers, toilets, dump station, laundry, fire ring, grill, concrete pads Hiking, fishing, swimming, boat rentals, boat dock, playground and much more. The campground is in excellent condition and well maintained. It has fair site separation with some trees. There are more than 10 miles of hiking and biking trails, fishing on two lakes and the York River along with an 18 hole golf course.

Nice and quiet. We have stayed here several times. Close to historic Williamsburg and Yorktown. We will be back several times.

Directions
From I-64, take exit 242 onto SR-199 NE, which turns into SR-641. This will take you to the base gate. Once through the gate, stay on Sanda Ave to the old campground. The MWR office to check in is on D Street and the new RV park with 50 sites is on B street
