It’s a small RV park, but not crowed. It’s quiet around here. The casino is within walking distance. There’s a restaurant and a snack shop in the casino. There’s also a club in the casino. There’s a little general store as well.
I enjoyed being at Rio Vento, it was very clean and quiet.. The owners are nice and so are most neighbors, internet net wasn’t the best there while at the park. The only issue I had which has nothing to do with the park is the road leading into the park is extremely .
It was a small RV park had a concert pad but not big enough for a 43 ft motor home. The site was 60 ft, but the whole site was not concrete. We were there for one night, it rained and the whole site had puddles around it. I do understand that it is a RV site but we stayed at others that were not concrete pad and did not flood this much. It was extremely muddy. Water was very. None of the sites had sewage, the dump station was about a mile down the road. They have a few 50 amp lots. We did not have one. The site had I would call it an out house. I did not see a bath house with showers. The out house only had a toilet, no sink for hand washing. The location was right on the water so that was nice. Other than that I was not impressed.
It was quiet.
I don’t like that it’s not paved lots. Not very much around the location as well.
We stayed at Cheatham Annex for a week. I liked that they had paved lots and the lots were spacy. The area was quiet as well. You’re kind of far from any shopping grocery store and restaurants. But other than that not a bad place.
I was there for a week for a work. It was a bit crowed for my liking. Your neighbors are extremely close to you. Seemed like they had a lot to do for children. I did like that they had a trolley that comes by and takes you to the oceanfront and they have a parking pass if you decide to take your car to the ocean front. I do not like that the quiet hours start at 11:00 pm. We had a new family rent the lot next to us and they were very loud. They started drinking in the early afternoon and by the evening they were pretty lit. Their music was blaring. I called the front office at 1115pm and no one picked and of course no one was there. They should at least have security around for instances like that.
There isn’t much that is offered here besides your standard w/r/s. I am here full time and I get charged $35 a night. Not bad, but every now and then I hear a person that comes and tells me that they are only charged $25 a night. Spouse has asked and they insist that it’s $35 for everyone. There are not amenities here, Wi-Fi is not all that great. I’m sure it has to do with being on the base. Off base my Wi-Fi works just fine.
I have gone to a few of the Navy RV parks around area and they charge $25 a night for w/r/s and you’re on a slab. They also offer bathroom and laundry. My point here is if you’re charging $10 extra then you should have some kind of facilities on site or a slab. What I do like about this site is that it is quiet. I’ve been here for 6 months and have not dealt with loud noise after quiet hours. For that matter nothing too loud throughout the day.
The park has large sites that are paved. Plenty of parking and clean. The only problem is the the bar thats across the street, the music is extremely loud and the internet is is almost nonexistent.
