Camping Resort available to buy deed

This is our home base camping resort. It’s a deeded membership that allows for 14 day stays with a single deed. We’ve stayed a few times prior to owning with friends who sponsored us. There are both paved and unpaved sites with full hookups, and tent sites that feature water and electricity. Bath houses throughout property, and a laundry, community center, two pools, a large pavilion and ball court. We love having play areas for the kids and a dog park for our fluffy kid.

This is our home away from home

We have been member's here for several year's and camping here even longer (inherited membership from my Grandparents who I grew up camping with here).  The campground has a lot of amenities and all sites are full hook up.  As it is a member owned campground it is a community and we all help and take care of each other.  The average cost even with annual dues is a deal compared to most other campgrounds.

My only complaint is some of the sites are a bit smaller, but for the area they are on average considering the location, we just prefer a bit more space, especially when the campground is full for holiday's but we are able to get reservations and sites even on holidays just a couple weeks out usually so it's still nicer and easier than other places that are usually booked months if not a full year out.

Other than that, not specifically an issue with the campground, more the area that has a flooding problem, if the wind and rain comes in from the south, there can be a bit of flooding, some sites are worse than others, it's not a drainage issue, it's not a maintanace issue as it only occurs when the winds are strong out of the south.  Not something that stops us from visiting, just to be aware of and pay attention.

No answer

Membership only campground. Didn’t answer when called at the gate. Missed opportunity.

Peaceful

Campground is well taken care of. Just enough out of the way of Virginia Beach to feel like you’re not near a major city. Sites are a very good size. Amenities are plentiful.

Great Group Location

We brought a large group of boys here and had a great time. It did have some issues with drainage but the pool and the mini adventure opportunities made it worth the trip

Membership campground

This is a membership campground, walk-in not permitted. Nice size sites but they have drainage problems and with a heavy rain or southern wind floods very easily . A lagoon runs thru campground and has deep water access.

They have two pool areas, basketball courts, playground and rent out kayaks to use.

they need updating of the water system so sometimes water pressure is very low.
