Monticello RV Campground

Just south of Monticello's main corridor, this private RV campground sits on level ground with views extending toward two mountain ranges. The facility operates as a full-service park with electric, water, and sewer hookups at each site, plus amenities including restrooms, showers, and WiFi access.

Sites feature concrete pads and are arranged with adequate spacing between units. Tree coverage provides shade across portions of the property, while an open field with horses extends to the north of the camping area. The campground's proximity to the main road means traffic noise is noticeable, particularly for light sleepers. Several reviewers mention wearing ear plugs for better rest.

The restroom and shower facilities consistently receive high marks from visitors. Wayne F. emphasizes the "wonderful showers and clean" conditions throughout the bathhouse. Sites accommodate RVs with full hookups, and the office staff handles same-day reservations for travelers passing through the area. A few tent sites are positioned along the back fence line, separated from the RV section.

This campground works well for RV travelers seeking full hookups and reliable amenities while exploring southeastern Utah's national parks and recreation areas. The combination of level sites, clean facilities, and convenient road access makes it a practical overnight stop for those comfortable with some road noise.

Visitors often highlighted the exceptionally clean facilities and friendly family hosts as standout features. Road noise was mentioned as a concern by some, though most found the park peaceful overall.

Glorious Country

We called from the road same day and arranged a site. We pulled in before dark and I’m so glad we did. The sunset was beautiful as was the setting. Two mountain ranges were in view. The sites are well maintained, the bathroom is locked and clean and there is WiFi and full hookups for $40 at the time of writing this. They also have some cute cabins made out of grain silos.

Mountain View RV Park

Stayed here for two nights in May on our travels to the east coast. Great Bathrooms....wonderful showers and clean! Sites are pretty level and nice electric, water and sewer hook ups. Very nice young lady who checked us in. Eat at The Granary if you have a chance. Pub in an old grain silo!

Only down side is it is right off the road. Wore ear plugs to sleep with no issues.

Recommend!

Did I mention Great Bathrooms!

Monticello RV Campground

just happened upon this gem during a road trip to the south rim of the Grand Canyon, just south of Moab. Absolutely perfect campground/RV park. only a few tent sites in the back of the park, but superbly placed along a fence line. they were in the process of moving sites to allow grass to grow, but not one bad tent pad.  they are located on the back of the park near the office. just north of the tent sites lies an open field with horses that seems to go miles. To the west lies a field of wind turbines. The sites have a lot of tree cover for shade. They have some of, if not the cleanest restroom/showers I have ever been to. And that is saying a lot. Plus they have free Wifi.  Hosts were super friendly and helpful to anything we needed.  Super quiet park with pleasant fellow campers/Rv'ers.
