Everything you need

Showers were free camping with them. We also ate at the restaurant and it was good as well. The site manager in the gas station/store was very friendly. The highway is close, but it isn't really a factor for sleeping unless you're a wuss like some of the other reviewers.

Avoid at all costs

Right on the highway, very noisy. Showers are listed as an amenity, but they charge $8. That’s not an amenity. There is no wifi in campground.

Meh

We stayed here for about 68$ for two nights, if I remember correctly. For that price, can’t complain about much. There are showers, although they are far away from the tent sites. The tent site bathrooms are porta Jon’s, with no hand sanitizer. And the tent sites are not easily maneuvered, it’s kinda hard to tell where each site ends. But hey, there are showers. Another con is the highway noise is very loud.

Nice Campsite, But Noisy Highway

This is a nice and convenient campground, with a nice campsite. The negative is the highway right next to the campground, and the business of other campers nearby. Also the bathrooms were not very clean.

Not a bad choice at all, but may not be the peaceful place you are looking for.

Nice park

Just off route 12 about 5 miles to Bryce Canyon entrance. No WiFi at sites, but it is available by store & laundry, but cellular is good here. Shade trees help with sun exposure.

Pretty Good!

This campground was nice. Good spot, pretty views! Overall, enjoyable. Would return! Bryce Canyon is COLD this time of year, so the ground was covered with snow, but we expected this and packed accordingly.

Right next to highway...

The campground is right next to a super busy highway so you won’t get much sleep.  There are porta pottie.s right next to campsites (practically in them).

There is a nicer bathroom at the gasstation/hotel that the campground is run out of.  It has supplies wifi and showers as well.

The campground is fairly close to Bryce Canyon but it is not worth staying at unless you absolutely need to.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the differences between Bryce Canyon Pines Campground and Bryce Canyon Pines RV Park?

Bryce Canyon Pines Campground and the RV Park are actually the same facility. The property operates both tent camping sites and RV spaces, which sometimes leads to confusion in naming. The facility is located right behind a Chevron gas station, approximately 5 miles from Bryce Canyon National Park entrance. The campground accommodates both tent campers and RVs, with varying levels of amenities depending on your camping style. Tent sites are more basic with porta potties nearby, while the RV area offers more conveniences but is situated closer to the highway.

What amenities are available at Bryce Canyon Pines Campground?

Bryce Canyon Pines Campground offers several amenities including showers (fee-based), laundry facilities, a general store, and a gas station on-site. The campground has porta potties near the tent sites, plus access to clean flush toilets at the main building. WiFi is available near the store and laundry area, but not at individual campsites. The store sells firewood, camping supplies, and last-minute necessities. Good Sam Club members receive a discount. The campground also features shade trees and is situated conveniently close to Bryce Canyon National Park.

What does the Bryce Canyon Pines Store & Campground offer that other campgrounds don't?

Bryce Canyon Pines Store & Campground distinguishes itself with its convenient one-stop setup. The property features an on-site Chevron gas station, general store with camping supplies, and a restaurant serving good food. This comprehensive approach eliminates the need to travel elsewhere for basic needs. The campground also offers laundry facilities and showers in a single location. Its position just off Route 12 provides easy access approximately 5 miles from Bryce Canyon National Park, making it a practical basecamp for park exploration without the constraints of staying inside the national park.

How do Bryce Canyon Pines Campground reviews compare to other nearby campgrounds?

Bryce Canyon Pines Campground receives mixed feedback compared to other nearby options. Positive aspects include its convenient location about 5 miles from Bryce Canyon National Park, clean facilities, friendly staff, and on-site amenities like a store, gas station, and restaurant. However, the campground's proximity to the highway results in traffic noise that some campers find disruptive. The tent camping area receives more criticism for basic facilities (porta potties) and challenging site layout. While not the most serene camping experience in the area, many appreciate its practicality and reasonable pricing as a basecamp for exploring the spectacular national park.
