Description

USDA Forest Service

Many people enjoy the solitude and primitive experience of camping away from developed campgrounds and other campers. Dispersed camping is the term used for camping anywhere in the National Forest OUTSIDE of a developed campground. Dispersed camping is free, therefore no services or facilities are provided; such as trash removal, tables, and fire pits. In some popular dispersed camping areas, camping is limited to designated sites only, such as the ones listed below.

Wonderful

Great spot not far from Bryce Park entrance. Quiet and lots of spots to choose from. We were pulling a 20 ft trailer.

Perfect spot in the forest!

This is area of National Forest with 26 designated sites. Large private sites with fire ring. Road is off of hwy 63; less than one mile from Bryce Canyon City and 5 min from Bryce Canyon NP entrance. Location could not be more convenient. Afternoon shade was delightful.

Cool Stay close to Bryce Canyon

Nice shady stay near Bryce. Lots of bugs, nothing biting but buzzing around your face all night. Also lots of animal bones around the site. Other than that it was very quiet and nice besides the occasional side by side

Just what we needed

Came here for a quick overnight stay so we could catch sunrise at Bryce.

Lots of space, areas where people had fires were marked. Easy to find.

Not many people there on a Sunday night.

15 minute drive to Bryce Sunset point

Tim the tear drop approved

Great out of the way spot just outside Bryce Canyon national Park. Little up hill rocks and some trees but made it with our wrangler and tear drop camper just fine.
