Riders and non-equestrians alike can use Coyote Hollow Equestrian Campground, a four-site Forest Service camp set within Dixie National Forest between Red Canyon and the Bryce Canyon National Park entrance. Sites are large back-ins with picnic tables, a vault toilet, and no potable water. Livestock water runs in season but is not drinkable for humans, so campers should arrive with their own supply. Cell coverage is reliable, with reviewers reporting two to three bars of LTE on AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile. Fees run $7 to $14 per night from mid-April through mid-October, and pets are welcome. The campground works best for self-sufficient campers who want a low-cost base near pet-friendly campgrounds near Dixie National Forest with straightforward drive-in access and minimal facilities.
