Managed by the Bureau of Land Management, this free dispersed area sits just past Horsethief Campground along a sandy two-track that runs roughly 0.6 miles before dead-ending. Around ten spots are available, none designated, though rock fire rings mark the obvious areas. No water, tables, or trash service. Cell signal is workable. High-clearance vehicles are strongly advisable, as the road becomes increasingly rough with exposed slickrock toward the far end. Campers wanting a fee site with more infrastructure have options among campgrounds around Moab.
