Catfish Heaven Aqua Farm & RV Park

Accessible by paved road, Catfish Heaven Aqua Farm & RV Park operates as a working fish farm with RV camping facilities. Sites accommodate rigs up to 50 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections at $26 per night. The park primarily serves long-term residents, creating a settled community atmosphere with smaller individual sites.

The property centers around stocked catfish ponds where visitors can fish for a fee based on their catch, with no catch-and-release policy. Multiple ponds dot the open terrain alongside amenities designed for families, including a pool, playground, splash pad, and a train feature. Picnic tables provide spots for outdoor meals between fishing sessions.

Liz P. found the "showers and bathroom are clean and nice," with working coin-operated laundry facilities where the dryers actually complete full cycles. The owner maintains the facilities and provides hands-on management. WiFi reaches throughout the property, and pets are welcome with advance notice.

For those planning regional travel, the location provides access to camping spots outside St. Martinville and the broader Acadiana region. Reservations are available and recommended, particularly during peak fishing seasons when families with children tend to visit most frequently.

Many campers appreciated the family-friendly fishing and recreation amenities, clean facilities, and hospitable management. Sites are compact as it hosts many full-timers, but the grounds offer excellent entertainment for children.

Affordable and nice!

The owner is very hospitable and takes care of the facilities. $26.50 for a level, paved site with electric, water and I think sewer. Showers and bathroom are clean and nice. Laundry facility worked well for us, coin operated. The dryers actually dry! We are thankful we found this place.

Nice little campground

Nice little little campground. Has stocked catfish ponds but you must pay for what you catch and no catch and release.
