This place is amazing. They have everything you would ever want for a family Campground.
Neat little spot. Lots of fishing here. We stayed at site 1 with 37 foot motorhome. Nice playground. 10 minutes into town with great restraint and kids area. Dump station is back up uphill, bathroom showers have some nature creeping around.
The beach across the street is pretty neat. Lots of dolphins and other sea life to watch. It’s a great place to take children. Nice sandy area.
The pool was supposed to be heated but it’s definitely not. They have a small playground that the kids are happy with. The only downside is the residents at this park. You feel as if you are at there ‘home’ and it can be awkward. Basically you just don’t feel welcome. The camp store is great. Lots of beer and wine to choose from and can even charge to your campsite. There are some amazing beaches about 25 minute drive for swimming.
Super cool RV park. It has a heated pool and a hot tub. Fantastic playground over sand. A turtle pond, laundry facility, bathhouse and on the beach. We loved it in December.
Excellent campground. Great playground and laundry facility. The main office sells ice and there’s a vending machine we can buy pop for $.75 apiece. There’s a small fishing company that sells fresh seafood you can find the name on the back of the camp map. The primitive campgrounds looked to be very spacious and nice. The shower facility was up to snuff. The interesting thing was you could have a fire with no ring anywhere on the ground. We had read previous reviews about bike safety, granted we were there in the off season. There was a gate to get in and we never felt like our property was in jeopardy.
Our recommendation would be to book early in order to avoid having to move from spot to spot. Be advised there is no sewer hook up so water conservation will be in necessity. Also they have a great bathroom/bath house facility as well as a dishwashing station which came in handy because there is only a dump station.
The beaches were spectacular and we enjoyed great fishing as well as other ocean activities.
Stayed in site 112 and had a great time. The campground was spectacular we even saw dolphins right next to the campground check in and camp store. We will be back. Our rig is 37 feet overall length.
Nice RV park in Louisiana. This park has mostly full timers and you slot will be small.
The grounds were wonderful for children. There were ponds, picnic tables, pool, playground, splash pad, train.
Good experience overall. RV park has a pool, playground, driving range, laundry, hook ups, walking trails. Lots of ant piles thought. Laundry has 2 washers and 2 dryers. It is $2 for washer and free dryer. Nice store on site with ice, wood and misc. site 44 was pull this with view of the pond.
I LOVE this campground. So many Great Lake spots to choose from. There a cute little playground and very peaceful. Definitely a hidden gem. When you go down the road that enters the campground you feel as you are going the wrong way. You’re not, keep going. December was the perfect time to visit.
Quite and peaceful. A little pricey for public land but a great campground nonetheless.
Great RV campsite #36. Pull thru and has great privacy. Walking trail around like is near. Not to many fire ant poles. Near by groceries store and town playground close by.
