Laid-back, dog friendly

This is the place to come if you want to feel at home. Friendly to dogs with a large wilderness area to let your pup run off leash. Owner is great! After months of traveling and staying at RV parks and campsites, we can confidently say this is in our top 3. It’s not fancy and if that’s what you are looking for, go somewhere else. There is a nice pool, clean showers and bathrooms and cute sites with picnic tables and fire places. Knife throwing contest on Sundays and Bingo on Wednesday if that is your thing. If we are ever in the area we will be back! Great hospitality.

Affordable and nice!

The owner is very hospitable and takes care of the facilities. $26.50 for a level, paved site with electric, water and I think sewer. Showers and bathroom are clean and nice. Laundry facility worked well for us, coin operated. The dryers actually dry! We are thankful we found this place.

Nice spots and river walk

$20 for site with hookups plus $3/person/night. The sites are level with adequate spacing. Showers are clean and hot but pressure is lacking. They are the push kind so you must continually press to keep the water running. The river walk from the campground is really nice. Office is helpful and kind.

Beautiful!

We camped right on an ocean cliff in October of 2019 and it was the most beautiful campsite we’ve ever stayed at! Coin operated showers were adequate. Port-a-potties were also fine. Campsites are far enough a part with picnic tables and a fire ring.

Beautiful Gem!

Owner is hospitable and site was adequate. The amazing part of this place are the three hot spring pools. It was magical, definitely recommend!

No showers and bathrooms are okay. $7 per person per night.

Site OK, bathroom/shower horrible

The site itself was adequate. Level, paved, hookups and picnic table. The reason for the low rating is the bathroom and shower. They are in poor condition and dirty to the point of unsanitary. For $35 a night we expect showers that are useable. We had to bring toilet paper into the bathroom, there was a dirty bucket in the shower and the facilities appeared to be falling apart with much deterioration to the walls and floors. When we asked the front about the shower, they acted as if it was fine! We chose not to use the shower it was that bad, and we really needed one. We had a small engine problem and were forced to stay two nights until we could get it fixed. The office is nice and accommodating and if you don’t need to use their shower or toilet this place will be fine for you. Water from the site hookups was tinged yellow but didn’t feel slimy. Lots of mosquitos, too. Hope this helps!
