We stayed at the Cisco location as we were traveling through Texas. This is not an RV "park". It's more of a stop over for passing through. No amenities, no one on site. We are a 44ft 5th wheel and liked that we could pull off I20 into a spot. Full hook ups. We stayed in the back lot. The area does look run down but it's a small town, low crime. No one bothered us. We got stuck in an ice storm and our 1 night pass through turned into 3. Would stay again for passing through. If you need amenities etc This isn't the place.
A nice park with very friendly hosts
Overall, it was a great park and everyone we worked with were friendly and helpful.
The spots are fairly close together, but there was plenty of room for our rig (43’ fifth wheel). Ours also has a small green space and a patio.
The laundry room is large with a good number of machines and a nice waiting area. It also has a change machine.
The pool looked nice, though it was closed for the season when we stayed there.
The hosts were fantastic the entire time we were there. They put together candy bags for trick or treaters in the park (we were there for Halloween) and made sure to check on us to see if everything was going well.
We did have an issue where we were charged twice for the stay (not the parks/staff/owners fault at all) and they were very helpful when we were getting that figured out. The hosts and owners all followed up with us to make sure it was handled as well.
If you do decide to book here, make sure you call to reserve. The online method over charges for some reason, so it’s best to call the office.
