Pulling off I-40 on the west side of Amarillo, this privately run RV resort sits close enough to the highway for easy access but far enough that road noise stays manageable overnight, at least with the AC running. Rates run $45 to $60 per night, reservations are available, and pets are welcome. The terrain is flat and open, which is consistent with the surrounding Texas Panhandle landscape. There are no trees to speak of, and sites sit in long, parallel rows, so campers expecting shade or natural buffers between rigs will want to adjust expectations accordingly.
Sites are paved concrete and pull-through, which makes arrival and departure straightforward even for large Class A rigs with tows. Gordon D. calls the setup "very friendly staff, very clean," and multiple reviewers echo that the restrooms and grounds are consistently well maintained. Full hookups include water and sewer, and WiFi and cell service get solid marks. One reviewer noted water pressure was weak after a late-night water outage, though it had resolved by morning, so water pressure may be worth monitoring on arrival.
The proximity to a Love's travel center makes resupply easy, and the resort has a small gift shop stocking basic RV supplies. A dog park and a grassy area for pets sit on the west side of the property, which matters if your site is on the east end. A pool, laundry facilities, and a covered picnic area with cornhole round out the amenities, though the pool has not always been open depending on the season. Nearby, Cadillac Ranch RV Park and Oasis RV Resort give travelers passing through additional overnight options, with Oasis offering a pool and laundry as well.
Campers who treat Amarillo as a one-night transit stop rather than a destination will find this resort well-suited to that purpose. The layout prioritizes efficiency: level paved sites, easy pull-through access, and consistent cleanliness. Travelers who want a low-friction overnight with full hookups and a reliable place to park a large rig will get what they need here.
