First trip out since spring break! This park is great only 45 minutes from home. They have a few full hook ups and lots of RV sites with water and electricity. Sites are spaced far apart all come with fire ring and covered picnic table.we stayed in site 115 great spot close to the water.
We spent 7 days at this park! That was 2 years ago and the grandchildren still talk about that trip! Fishing Bridge is the perfect location to stay with full hookup’s, showers, laundry and store with the best cafe and ice cream!
Love the location, so close to Dallas! This park is so quite and very dark at night! I loved that about this park, glad I arrived during the daylight it would be very difficult to find an RV spot at night! They have several full hookup sites closed right now due to some upgrades! The rest rooms were very clean! They have a good hiking trail! I had to walk about 1/2 mile to get to the water! It was so worth it! Got there just in time to go fishing while there were Sand Bass schooling! I ended up catching 15 and could have caught more but it was getting dark.
We were able to get a camp site side by side with our son and family. This was an awesome camp site and camp grounds! We saw a few deer also rented a double kayak and canoe to paddle to the Devils waterhole. This is a must do if you camp there. It was July in Texas so hit was extremely hot, but still had a great time!
This is the best Thousand Trails we have been to in Texas so far! They have the best and the cleanest bathroom/showers I have ever seen. The pool is large clean and great furniture! They have tennis, pickle ball, basketball, mini golf and beach volleyball. The only thing I did not care for is the pull thru RV sites are really close together! This is a must visit park!
Concrete back in sites with full hookup’s! Also fire rings, covered patio table’s. Great place for fishing kayaking and hiking!
The camp sites were small, with full hookup’s! We had a great time here with our family camping next to us and some friends rented a cabin, which was very nice! The kids liked the trampoline and the hay ride around the camp!
Nice little park with full hookup’s, shaded. Play ground small fishing lake. We stayed here so we could take the grandchildren to the Polar Express train ride.
We had 3 sites that were close enough for all the family to spend the weekend together! The fishing was not great, they have way to many Tilopia fish in the lake. The campground was fun for the kids to explore. The sites are shaded and they were doing some upgrades to the park!
This park has some great spots on a hill overlooking the lake! Sites are shaded level and full hookup’s! Lots of hiking trails. Great place to swim, boat kayaking and fishing! Only bad thing for us it takes about 3 hrs to get to from home.
Most sites are full hookup’s, level and sandy surface, shade trees. The park is great its real camping with the amenities of a resort. Pool play ground, game room and a 250 yard driving range! The place could us some TLC, but I would still recommend going there! Great place if you have a boat or kayak!
This is an awesome lake, the campground would score 5 stars but they don’t have full hookup’s! This is a large campground, lots of room between sites! Good place to go for a family camping spot! Shade and level sites! Great for fishing, kayaking, riding bikes!
We have stayed here a view times! Great place to stop for the night! Big indoor pool, play ground and store! Level sites , pull thru’s with full hookup’s! One night we drive out to Palo Duro Park to see the musical Texas! Lots of fun!
Good park to get away for the weekend with the grandchildren! Sites are shaded with full hookup’s! Caught a couple fish with the grandson! The dock could use some updating! Great hiking trails!
Small park, RV sites are close together, with full hookup’s! Staff super friendly, great restaurant by the water! Nice place to stay if you have a boat or kayak! Next door to the Texas fresh water fishery, cool place to take the young children! No shade, but I still think it is a great park!
Quite, shaded, level concrete RV sites with water and electricity! Each site has a covered table. Nice swim beach, boat ramp. Great hiking trails! This park is great for kayaking & fishing! If you stay here , you should drive in downtown Sulphur Spring’s , lots of restaurants and they have 2 public bathrooms in the square that are made with 2way mirrors! So when you are in the bathroom you can see out, but everyone walking by can’t see you! Kinda creepy and cool!
Large park with spacious sites, level, shaded and full hookup’s. We saw lots of deer and wild turkey! Great place to fish, kayak& hike!
This resort is located close to the Canton First Monday Trades day! Very nice clean resort! They have games, fishing, swimming, hiking! It is in the city so there is some noise, but everything else makes up for all that!
This park is very large! There is camping for everyone here! Great marina, fishing, hiking, kayaking and camp fires! All types of RV and tent sites! The swimming beach is the best, but you have to walk way down a hill to get to it!
Sites are semi level, full hookup, some shade! Great little lake to fish, kayak, swim and hike! Hard to get reservations because it is so popular! If you get reservations it’s kinda like winning the lottery 😃. But it’s all worth it!
