Quiet

We have a pull behind. We were very surprised at how level our gravel campsite was. It made setup a breeze. The loop makes backing into your spot easy. The wifi is decent. We have enjoyed the hiking trails down by the water and the playground for our kids.

Inks Lake SP

We didn't actually get to stay here because we didn't make reservations in time. (Would have been here in February 2021) On a drive through, there are tons of sites, some wooded and some not and lots of trails, bird watching opportunities etc. If we ever come back to Texas we will try to reserve…

Nice Quiet Campground

Green grass, well spaced concrete pads, and large pecan trees right along the San Saba river. There are full hookups and cable tv. The office is confusing and is down at the golf course office. (Avoid parking in the spaces up against the river and under the pecan trees. A couple of large branches…

A bit crowded

Expect a weekend camping trip here in the spring to be crowded. We also got the unlucky spot next to the restroom. Overall, off season I’m sure it’s a much nicer experience! We love enchanted rock and camping was easy to set up.

Perfect for a Shakedown Cruise!

We needed a place not too far out of town to test out our setups in prep for summer.

This was easy to get to and we had plenty of space to shake things down.

Loved having great cell service right at our site (AT&T), as we work remotely and needed to get a couple of things done.

Have also…

Nice place. Easy drop box.. Expensive for no amenities.

Was planning on tent camping nearby and left a day early and all the hotel room were booked. Tried finding a tent site and no luck. Found this place online and figured I'd give it a shot. First come first serve, pick your spot, fill out the card, put it and 25 bucks in a drop box and good to go.…

Very nice

I stayed there for 3 months in my 24 foot motorhome. They usually have a waiting list. Very nice park with mostly permanent residents. Lots of trees. River access. Bathrooms with showers, laundry room, fenced dog park, common areas with rec room, huge grassy area.

Great State Park

Pedernales Falls is a great camping experience for all. The sites have been updated a few years ago. The sites are reasonably large with covered table areas. The falls area requires a drive, but with ample parking. The hike to the falls area is reasonable. Ther is no swimming or entering the water…

Beautiful Park, well maintained

First primitive camping trip and was lucky to get the last camping spot available for a holiday weekend. The area of the state park where the primitive camping is is very quiet, about 2 miles walk away from the RV and cabin camping. So not much traffic near our spot. The site was cleared well and…
