Wranglers Campground in Land Between the Lakes offers extensive equestrian facilities with electric and water hookups at campsites designed for horse owners. The campground features multiple trails directly accessible from camp, accommodating both tent and RV camping with horses. Sites include picnic tables and fire rings, while the campground provides sanitary dump stations, showers, and toilets. Campers consistently note the friendly staff and clean facilities, with many sites positioned to avoid horse odors while maintaining convenient access to stables. Wranglers Campground

    Awesome Campground

Was greeted by friendly staff, splurged on a cabin and it was clean and comfortable. We didn’t have any neighbors and were located close to the showers and some horse stables (but far enough away from them so as to not smell horses the whole time lol). Great stay and would definitely recommend checking out this spot

    Wranglers Campground

    Unique spot

Fun experience staying with all the horses! I didn’t really know it was a thing to bring horses to camp and ride them on the trails! Loved it. Spots are pretty close together but fine for big rigs. Drawbacks: Sites 49-51 are mislabeled online. Booked a pullthru spot on 49 but it wasn’t. Campground was pretty full and we weren’t offered a lot to correct that the website was wrong. I could pay more for a different site... ended up taking “49” back in with ample space. Horses neigh, lots of barking dogs and some rowdy late night campers. If you are looking for a quiet getaway reconsider. We enjoyed being in it all and near the horses.

    Loretta Lynn's Ranch

    Lots of options

I love Loretta Lynn's! Lots of options for all types of camping. They have equestrian spots, RV spots, tent spots, and cabins for rent. Plus so much to do on the property! Can get busy on holiday weekends when the weather is nice or if they are doing any events there! Otherwise you can easily find a spot here!

Natchez Trace Wrangler Camp — Natchez Trace State Park

    Quiet time !!

We were just passing through and picked this park to stay the night in our 21 ft trailer. Wow! Super quiet, dark and cool the first week of October. (See photo) We stayed in the Wrangler site, which is typically for horses. (ATV’s not allowed) Trees haven’t changed yet. Would definitely come again.

Pin Oak Campground — Natchez Trace State Park

    Nice Place

We usually use Pin Oak CG at Natchez Trace State Park when we are traveling through Tennessee.  Many nice sites, and a few that aren't as nice.  But well worth stopping and enjoying the lake and peacefulness.  Our first time there was in 2014 and that is when I took the photos.

Natchez Trace Wrangler Camp — Natchez Trace State Park

Great place to relax & enjoy nature

There are 3 different campgrounds in thos very large state park. Cub Lake is for tents or small campers with water & electric hookups. The Wrangler Camp is for horse riders with water & electric hookups. The Pin Oak Campground is for RVs. Every site has full hookups. Two nice bath houses, a pavilion, playground, beach area, and boat dock. It is very open with several trees, but not not a lot of shade. The pictures in this review are only from Pin Oak Campground.

Pin Oak Campground — Natchez Trace State Park

    Great Campground with full hookups

Pin Oak Lake Campground is very nice. Well maintained with full hookups and plenty of space separating the sites. The lake itself is very clear water. Easy to access the park from I-40 but it is a bit of a drive from the exit. All good roads and location makes the campground quiet. Plenty of activities in the park and close to some Civil war battlefields. Our 38’ RV was easy to park on the generous pad. Take plenty of food as a trip to the store is a bit of a drive.
