Always a great getaway from the bustle of city life. Day use area can be packed in the summer but they have plenty of rules to keep the park beautiful and orderly. The camping side has scattered tent and group sights with some large wooded RV sights and clean cabins. Bath house is very well kept…
The campground is nice to roam with a wonderful playground. Events are held at an amphitheater by the day use area. Almost all campsites are heavily shaded but navigation with a larger RV would be difficult. Lots of trails but they get swampy after rain. Abundant wildlife including copperheads.…
We live nearby and did a shakedown here with our grandsons ages 5 and 8. The camping area has about 20 spots, and some are better than others. Try to get a spot on the outside of the loop, as the spots inside the loop are small and not very private. We were in #9, which was a bit steep at the front…
1st time here and it was amazing! Nice owners and very helpful. Bathrooms were very clean. The wifi was great. The beach area is super nice to spend a day on the water with your family. Price is a little higher then the state park but so worth it!!
Booking is easy, and staff are very friendly. Most of the sites are in the center of a loop road. Sites 1 & 2 have power and are outside the loop. Site 1 is back in, 2 is pull thru. Sites 8 & 9 are outside the loop and the most “remote”, with 9 being more-so. The rest of the sites are in…

Lovely little park in a small circle. About 25 campsites with some as full hook-ups. Sites are uneven so make sure you have blocks and not much around the campsite so this is a place to come and just relax. Bathhouse is ok; lake is beautiful for canoe or kayaking; but no swimming.

Great time with family at the new Taylor Creek Sites! Concrete pads are great and almost all sites have a lake view! Will be back again!

Lotta really nice people, two brothers were there I have been traveling for a few months and really nice back in his room really clean.
Nice and clean campground. Very family friendly. Great ice cream shop. Fun shopping. Not much privacy is the only draw back. Great place to stop with or without children.
Small, but really nice. A lot of sites right on the water. Lots of trees, really quiet. Nice boardwalk and nature trails nearby, with rental gear available.
Not much around the campground though. If you want peace and quiet, and don't need shopping or touristy stuff- this is for you.
Getting to the campground was a challenge with roads that are in desperate need of repair. They are starting to work on adding gravel to the sites but have a long way to go. It’s a quiet campground but zero amenities. You have to drive to the camp office and they’re only open a few hours a day.…
Clean and level and fun for everyone. Have some ice cream and shop.
South of the Border is a tourist trap, but I don’t mean that in a bad way. There are lots of things to do, and more ways to spend your money, including souvenir shops, a fireworks store, Christmas decorations, and more. If you are in the area or passing by on the interstate, it is a must see, even…

Myself and a friend found this little gem while Geocaching in the area. This campground was very comfortable to be in. The staff were friendly; the bathhouse was clean with plenty of room. There were washers and dryers for us to use as well. The campground layout is smaller than some other…
