Affordable and private

Shen staying at two mile you will find the sites are separated by trees and offer you your own little private area. The prices are good and you truly are in nature.

Nice place minus seasonals

The camp ground is not bad. Nice place over all. The pool is very nice, playgrounds for the kids and activities to do. Very friendly staff. However the seasonal campers seem to have some sort of entitlement. That is very annoying. Very loud and obnoxious which unfortunately has ruined our stay. I’m…

Allegany, Quaker Lake

Went in June, they were basically just opening. Grass wasn’t cut, got nasty bites from chiggers. Quaker store had essential gear but it was left over from last season. Just wouldn’t recommend going in June. Save it for July or August.

Really nice!

Very well maintained campground with lots of amenities, esp for kids (pool, playground). Generous sized sites, not too close together. Looks like quite a few long-term RVers here. Cute chickens wandering around. Hiking trail accessible from the campsite. Heavily wooded and quiet, but not too…

Don’t Follow GPS! Great Stop

We stayed here for a quick overnight stop. We have a 40’class A and flat tow a Jeep. We use both the RV Garmin 890 & RV Trip Wizard and both had us doing some crazy side roads to get into the KOA. Be sure to use the park’s directions for an easier drive in. Totally fine when we left using their…

Great site... poor check-in

We stayed at site 109 and loved our time at the campground. Our site was across from the bathroom and wasn’t as private as some of the others but we were rewarded with an amazing view. We stayed October 2020 so a little offseason and that may have been part of our check-in issues. When we arrived…

Peaceful and beautiful

Easy to find a site. Nice size sites that are not on top of each of. We could barely see our ‘neighbors’ through the trees. Well shaded spots.

Perfect

This was one of my favorite sites yet. They’re a bit further away from each other and the woods around them are thick. I did have to ask our neighbors to stop blasting “Pitbull” at 11:30PM but other than that, it was a great stay.

No Camping

"Camping is prohibited in the park." (That is directly off the DCNR website.)

I am not reviewing Moraine State Park (which is awesome). I am reviewing the CAMPING options at Moraine State Park. Which brings me back to the DNCR website. It says "No Camping" and "Camping is prohibited in the…

We come back every year

We enjoy this campground and try to come at least once a year. We prefer Cain Hollow/Quaker Area over Red House Area for camping. The sites are roomier. This trip we stayed at site 73 with our 27’ camper. It’s not a very deep site but we did have enough room on the non-awning side of our camper to…

Great park but no rv sites

This is a great place just of interstate 79. Been going there since I was a kid. In fact my family used to own property near by. This park has an awesome trail system for walking or biking

Simple and serene

Hearts Content is best described as a way station. The sites are nestled within a grove of immense pines. Some are large enough for large RV’s . There are no showers. Bathrooms are vault toilets. Two of the sites include Adirondack type shelters. A picnic table and fire ring are within each site. I…

Great Campground

Fun, family friendly campground. We were in a tent on a electric/water site. Sites were a little small but we made it work with three families on three sites. Lots to do, fishing, swimming pool, petting zoo, hayrides and friendly staff.
