Beautiful weekend

Very nice, quiet campground, rangers seemed to drive by enough. Fire pits were all clean as were the restrooms… showers however could use some mold removal.

Attendant at the gate got on to us for not stopping each time we traveled through the entrance…. Hiking and kayaking were superb

A really nice state park

This is a really nice state park.  Although the  campground was nearly full when we were there it didn't feel crowded.  Sites are reasonably spaced and ours looked out on a wide open grassy field which made it feel spacious. The woman at the entrance was really nice and helped us transition to a…

Starry Night

We enjoyed our stay at this campground set at the top of the mountain! There’s just enough room in between each campsite and the layout is easy to navigate. It gets busy on the weekend but it’s a nice environment. It’s fun to explore the downtown after rafting on the yough!

great little gem

This is a nice, quiet small campground with a small lake. Our grandchildren loved it. The boat launch is a nice size to fit 2 boats at a time. The only problem is the beach is not that great. However we stayed out in the boat on the lake most of the time. It’s a great place to fish and swim and…

Super Friendly

There are a number of regular campers that stay here, we found them all very friendly. There are some lots with power and water, some with just water and some without either. Shady spots are somewhat difficult to find, we used a pop up to create our own. Pet friendly and close to a boat ramp,…

Beautiful little campground

We camped here in May 2021 for the first time and loved it. Our site was beautiful with a view of the woods. The campground has a little camp store which is unusual for such a small campground. Lots of great hiking and the Coopers Rock Overlook is a must see. The road to the campground has no…

Nice state park with a lake

Stayed 3 nights because I wanted to be centrally located to the he Flight 93 Memorial and Falling Water (about 30 miles to each). The non pet section is heavily wooded and very shady. The pet section is more of a loop set up with some trees. The no pet section had no, zero, zilch cell service so…

September 2020 Stay

This was a 1-night stay.  We stayed here because the nearby state parks we were interested in were full for the weekend.  It was OK given the circumstances, but I would prefer a state park.  The location was on the edge of town.  The campground is right up against some…

August 2020 Stay

We camped for 1 night.  We chose site 102 because it looked decent in the picture and seemed a little apart and more private than other areas.  Unfortunately, it was not great for tent camping as there wasn't really a spot to set up our 4-person tent.  We squeezed it in by the…
