At $10 per night with first-come, first-served availability, Little John Sno Park sits directly off Highway 35 in Mt. Hood National Forest, giving campers quick access without a reservation. Three designated tent sites have large footprints, while RVs and bigger rigs use a mostly level parking lot with scattered picnic tables. Highway noise is present but drops off significantly after dark. No cell signal is available on site, though satellite internet has worked for at least one visitor. Pit toilets are on-site, and trash cans are provided, though past visitors have noted litter at the sites. Nearby, Nottingham Campground offers another option along the same corridor. The setup works best for self-sufficient campers making an overnight stop between Hood River and Government Camp.
