A pleasant getaway awaits you in southern Oregon's Rogue Valley. Valley of the Rogue Park has both a day-use picnic area and an overnight campground along three miles of shoreline on the Rogue River. An easy, self-guided interpretive walking trail provides a relaxing 1.25 mile stroll along the river's edge and it intersects with the Rogue River Greenway Trail which is 4 miles long throughout the park.

Camp and play along the river made famous by novelist and avid fisherman Zane Grey. The campground is also a great place to stay while taking in the local culture, history, and recreation opportunities in the area. Stay with us while you take trips to Crater Lake National Park, the Oregon Caves National Monument, historic Jacksonville, Ashland's Shakespeare Festival, or the Britt Music Festival. My name is Caroline, I am an Interior Designer and have converted the former mule Barn into an Outdoor Summer Living Space with dining room, living room, kitchen and patio. Attached to the barn are an outdoor shower with hot water as well as a composting toilet.

Al Fresco Dining, Showers in the Sunset and occasional outdoor movie nights are waiting for you here on the Hill in the beautiful Applegate Valley.

If you play the guitar, feel free to bring it along, we have had fun times with small gatherings in the evenings on the patio.

Please note: I live here and so you will see me around daily, usually I tend the gardens or you can find me around the barn. However, I will respect your privacy!

The dogs who live on the property are usually free roaming and they will for sure come visit you, they are all friendly. I am emphasizing this, because if you are scared of dogs, are not used to dogs or do not like dogs, my place (unfortunately) might not be the right spot for you :-(.

This remote and picturesque campground is a short distance from Willow Lake and Fish Lake, and nearby to Whiskey Springs Campground. Recreation Numerous hiking trails are within easy access, including the Mt. McLaughlin Trail #3716. Facilities This small campground contains a variety of campsites to accommodate all types of visitors and campers, including group, family and single campsites. Drinking water is available at nearby Whiskey Springs Campground. The campground has one vault toilet. Firewood is available for purchase from the off-site Host. We have become a highly rated stop for commuters traveling the PNW coastal highways & those venturing from LA to Seattle! Once you enter the property, you will feel like you are completely disconnected from the city life, and will be welcomed by our rolling hills, epic views of Mt. McLoughlin, warming sunrises, and breathtaking sunsets.  Staying with us, you will enjoy a slice of heaven we call home and experience the farm life up close, all while having access to local farmers markets and shops, Target & Trader Joes. While on the property, you can purchase our grass-fed, fully organic raised meat & poultry, and depending on the season and crop you can harvest your own veggies to go with it!  
For long stays (3+ nights) you will have a complimentary dozen eggs to enjoy during your stay and little treats from the farm when in season. 

As a working farm,  we work with the sun and sleep with the stars.  Morning moo's and calls from the rooster will wake you, so plan on nature being your soundtrack while staying with us!

This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! 

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. 

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. 

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

-S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat
-A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling 
-Bedding and pillows
Firewood

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property. 

If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper___s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

777 Guest Ranch

Jackson County Parks unveiled a new RV parkon July 1, 2016 in Central Point (I-5, Exit 33), in Oregon's Rogue Valley.

The park offers 92 full-hookup sites right in the heart of Southern Oregon, in a prime location near various lakes and the Rogue River, and is near ideal locations for outdoor activities such as rafting, boating, fishing, hiking, cycling and camping. The location is also convenient for attending the Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, Oregon, and the Britt Music & Arts Festival in Jacksonville, Oregon.

SORV Park also connects directly to the Bear Creek Greenway, a 20-mile, paved, multi-use trail that links the cities of Ashland, Talent, Phoenix, Medford and Central Point.

The new big-rig friendly park features 20-30-50-amp electrical service and water/sewer connections. All sites are paved with standard slips measuring 60’ with 12’ wide parking pads, and premium slips measure 75' with 15' wide parking pads.

Each site has a picnic table on a concrete pad and a fire pit for roasting marshmallows. The park has three-centrally located restroom buildings with showers as well as an additional restroom in the day-use area of the park. Traveling with pets? The park has a large off-leash area for your dogs to run free and stretch their legs. Future plans for the park include group picnic shelters and accessible fishing docks.

Conveniently located on the northern edge of the Jackson County EXPO, the SORV Park's close proximity to the EXPO facilities provides a perfect opportunity to camp in a quality RV park, then walk to the Jackson County EXPO for the fair, concerts, rodeos, horse and livestock shows as well as the many other events held at the Expo. Those staying at the park don’t need to worry about parking, where to sleep or where to take a quick break after a busy day at the EXPO as your RV is just a short walk away. The close proximity also offers a great venue for RV clubs and RV rallies to host meetings and gatherings at EXPO facilities and meeting rooms. So come on out and check out SORV at Exit 33.
