Rogue Valley Overniters

Just off Interstate 5 in Grants Pass, Rogue Valley Overniters sits in a commercial area that puts urban conveniences within walking distance. The campground accommodates RVs up to 70 feet with full hookups on gravel sites connected by paved roads. Long-term residents make up much of the occupancy, creating a neighborhood atmosphere rather than a transient camping experience.

Sites run close together, as multiple reviewers note the tight spacing between spots. The facility maintains clean tiled restrooms and coin-operated laundry on-site. Management responds quickly to issues—one camper found their power restored while they were out to dinner, with staff checking back to confirm the repair. The campground stays open year-round, providing consistent access regardless of season.

The location places campers near All Sports Park and positions them for Grants Pass seasonal events like Boatnik, which brings boat racing, fireworks, and carnival activities to the Rogue River town. Fast food, restaurants, and vehicle services cluster nearby for practical needs. Den O. found it "certainly adequate and humble," noting the worn picnic tables and grass areas that soften the commercial setting.

For travelers seeking more camping choices in the region, campgrounds near Grants Pass offer different settings and amenities. Rogue Valley Overniters works best for those prioritizing convenience and full hookups over natural surroundings.

A basic RV park with reliable full hookups and clean facilities including restrooms and laundry. Several reviews mentioned tight sites and some long-term residents, but campers appreciated the responsive management and convenient city location.

Needed a brake job done

Excellent customer service, we didn’t have power and it was resolved while we went out to dinner. Management came to us when we returned to verify power was on! Clean tiled restrooms Coin operated laundry Cleanest campground so far, however sites are a little tight and it’s located in the city limits so if you need fast food, restaurants or vehicle service/repair, it’s all near this location.

Just my experience

I spent one night in Sept. 2019 after a rainy day. We stayed up front near the office and street in a 38 foot motorhome. Full hookups, gravel sites and paved roads. It was quiet though not far off the freeway in a commercial neighborhood. I saw nothing wrong and have no complaints; there was grass and worn picnic tables. Overall, it was certainly adequate and humble. I would stay again without hesitation. I cannot rate it higher because it is humble— it is not as glitzy as the highly rated parks.

Standard issue RV Park

Located at the top of Grants Pass close to freeway entrance/exit, this is your standard RV Park. Nothing special but is within walking distance of food/drinks which is nice.

Mediocre

Most of the people staying here are long term, when we stayed there was some drama between residents and it seems some shady people tend to frequent the area. Perks are laundry, showers and bathrooms on site. Not a great place if you’re looking to get out Into nature but Grants Pass has some fun seasonal events such as boatnik with fireworks, boat racing and carnival rides/food. Pretty river town but I’ve stayed at nicer places for the same price.

Local highlights include: All sports park, boatnik, car cruises, wildlife images.
