Jones Creek Campground sits within Oregon State Forests, managed by the Oregon Department of Forestry and open from late May through mid-September. The forested campground offers both RV sites with full hookups and walk-in tent sites that require a short hike. One camper noted the long sites allow tent placement away from the main camping area, though road noise reaches some spots.
The campground sees heavy use during holiday weekends, particularly from visitors heading to the nearby off-highway vehicle staging area. Campers can find camping spots around Oregon State Forests throughout the region. Several other Tillamook State Forest campgrounds operate within a few miles, including Tillamook State Forest Cedar Creek OHV Staging Area less than a mile south.

Jones Creek Campground provides pleasant camping opportunities alongside the Trees to Sea Scenic Byway within the Tillamook State Forest. Located 23 miles east of Tillamook and 27 miles west of Banks, the campground offers 28 first-come-first-served drive-in campsites, 14 first-come-first-served walk-in campsites, and 1 reservable group site.
The Wilson River Trail is directly accessible from the campground and provides access to Jones Creek Day Use Area – a popular swimming hole on the Wilson River, and the nearby Tillamook Forest Center
Facilities are open mid-May to mid-September with first come first served designated drive-in site for $20 per night.

Currently, only the group site is reservable for $50 per night.

Please be aware that the group site has a roughly 65'x22' parking area.
All vehicles must park within site boundary.
