Great for family or overnight

Great Corp of Engineers park. Very reasonably priced. Lots of families with children playing in the lake.

Great for a break from driving

Owner is very pleasant. We are just stopped for 1 night to break up a 14 hour drive. No real amenities, but a level place to hook up and sleep. Great value for $20.

Nice sites, not so nice facilities

The night we spent here, we were the only ones in that whole section of the campground, so we had the whole place to ourselves.  The campsite was nice -- next to the lake, spacious, and clean.  The only toilet was infested with wasps, so we weren't able to use it.  But the night skies were gorgeous.

Wonderful 4th of July!

We visited family at Water’s Edge for the 4th of July and it was fantastic. The campground hosts were extremely helpful in getting us to our spot and parked. Most, if not all, spots have decks overlooking the water. Also, the spots had full hookups!

Clean and welcoming

We arrived after the office closed, but they called to check on our arrival and have our registration ready for us. Clean bathrooms and showers. It’s a former KOA campground with all those amenities but older. Nice pond along the tent camping area. RV pull through are a little tight but you pull in…

Lake Front Camping

This is a lakeside campground with 2 primary sections terraced so that most campsites have at least a partial lake view. All sites are water/electric with sites 51 thru 57 offering 50 amp and the remaining sites 30 amp. Some of the 30 amp sites share water connections. There are 2 boat ramps and a…

Great camping

I like the layout of the campground. Tent sites were separate of RV sites instead of being all mixed in. Good hiking trails of varying difficulty. Clean grounds and clean bathrooms.

Fishing, Splash Pad, & Trails

Greenleaf State Park is a gem in eastern Oklahoma. This state park offers fishing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, and a splash pad to cool off at! It also is home to The Cabin on the Lake, the first cabin built in Oklahoma for the physically challenged.

Rude campers, facilities need maintenance

The Trailhead camping area is so-so. You can access the camping areas at the back by driving across the lawn. The spots are quite narrow, so your neighbors are right on top of you. There was a water spigot available but in a neighboring campsite maybe 10 ft from the fire ring, so I had to disturb…

Floater Boater 2021

Stayed for 3 days and 2 nights with a float trip on day 2. The rafts worked great for our group and we had some that brought their own kayaks as well. All in all it was a great experience and we intend to go back again for round 2 sometime in the fall. Restroom facilities were in somewhat disrepair…

Beautiful and Clean

This is probably our favorite campground so far. The sites are spacious and clean. The water spigots are insulated for colder weather camping. There are several hiking trails with varying levels of difficulty. There are several beautiful falls along Lee Creek.

We didn’t make it to the pool but…
