Welcome to Dantzyn RV Park located in Eastern Oklahoma within 2 minutes of Tenkiller Lake with easy access off of Hwy 100. We offer full hookup 30x 70 RV sites for long term, short term and nightly rates. David Boggs is the owner of the park. David had a new septic system installed to handle the showers and laundry building. He had a storm shelter built for park patrons so they can take cover when tornados are near. He loves animals so made sure to include a dog park in the plans at the park. And he is planning to build a dog park soon.

We are a family owned and operated RV Park with FULL HOOK US and 6 acres of wooded hillside! It's very quite, we only have two sites, and we welcome long stays. Also take advantage of our LAUNDRY ROOM and full bathroom in the office!

Back your recreational vehicle into one of our two sites. Our gravel pads are fairly level and will not puddle in the rain. Both of our sites have 20Amp or 30Amp outlets, a well-water spigot, and a SEWER PORT!

Pets are allowed, however you are responsible for keeping them out of the street as there is no fence up yet. You are also welcome to hike the wooded hillside on the property and experience the view from the top of the picturesque Illinois River valley. Bring a hammock and string it up in the trees or bring some yard games to play in the grassy area! We are just a 10 min drive from multiple restaurants, Walmart, gas stations and hardware stores. And if you need anything don't hesitate to ask!

Things to do… Definitely bring your mountain bike as there are countless trails in the NWA area, including some quality trails right in Siloam Springs! There are two Frisbee golf courses in town so you'll want to pack your discs. The Kayak Park on the Illinois River is only a 5 minute drive if you have a kayak or just an inner tube to float the rapids. It's also a great place to kick back on the natural gravel bars and catch some sun or go swimming! You can also float the river if you want! Gypsy Camp and Canoe rentals is a great place to start that adventure. Lincoln Lake is a great place to break out the rock climbing gear and climb - routes are already set up for lead climbing and top roping. And that's just scratching the surface of all there is to do in the area!

    Snake Creek

    Great place to stay.

We really enjoyed this campground. Lots of room to roam, Plenty of access to the water for boats (multiple ramps) or wading/swimming. Plenty of sites to choose from some shaded, some by the water.  A few full hookups but not many. Most spots are just electric and water. Clean restrooms/showers. One newer area of the campground has new private shower rooms. We have been back a couple of times with all the kids and grandkids. Overall a nice corp of engineers park.

    Applegate Cove Campground

Tucked away spot that's almost heaven

I sort of threw darts at a board to where I would be camping next, and Applegate Cove was my destination this time. The campground is fairly small, but each lot is well maintained. The ground was a bit hard to drive tent stakes into, but I'm attributing that to the weather and season until I visit again and disprove that. There's a small walking loop down to the Arkansas river which left me a gorgeous view of the sunset, unfortunately I also visited during a fishing competition which brought quite a few people, making it a bit of a noisy area during the day as they were using the campground boat slip and dock to cast off from. You can also hear river barges during all hours, though personally I slept through all of the supposed noise. My only real complaint was that one of the bathrooms was in considerably worse condition than the other and you could smell it up to twenty feet away, which after learning I took the extra minute to walk to the nicer one. The shower was good and hot, no complaints there. All in all, I'm pretty happy with how my stay went, and there's very little I disliked about the campgrounds.

    Great for the weekend!

Fantastic park to bring the kids and ride the bike trails or fish. Several pavilions and playgrounds. Clean campground. NO SEWER at campsites which is the only reason for the 4 stars. We stayed 7 days and had to move to pump out twice during our stay, so it was slightly inconvenient. Other than that, we loved it and will be back for shorter visits!

    2 Days Nice

A little older of an area. Stayed in site B10. Close to level. We have a 36' 5th wheel, tow vehicle, plus another vehicle. Easy entry into site and large enough for all vehicles. Asphalt with concrete patio. There is a picnic table and fire ring. 50/30/20A We can kind of see the river from this site. Very roomy sites in the woods with plenty of shade. Mostly dirt ground. Older but clean restrooms. We didn't use them. There are single person combined toilet and shower rooms at the front of park. There are mountain bike/hiking trails all over, even a little bike park with ramps and jumps. Playground and boat ramp. No sewer hookups, but there is a dump station. Lots of mosquitoes in the evening. Although some sites need maintenance and the restrooms are old, this is a nice park. We stayed 2 days and would definitely stay again.

    Quaint and Quiet

21 RV spots available around a small, family lake. Water and electric hook ups and clean dump station. Small park/play area and two large pavilions. Hiking trail located at the back of the park. Lake is great for fishing and kayaking. Not a major boating or water sport lake. First come first serve spots. Camp host is helpful and friendly. Calm and quiet stay

Campground itself awesome as for (Ty Floyd) the owner not so much

#1. We paid $135 in advance for 3 days and nights for 3 adult and 7 kids. On day two our kids was accused of throwing trash on the ground at creekbank ( lie ) we didn't allow our kids out of camp with food or drinks.

#2. Was accused of being neglectful parents for not being at waters edge anytime our kids was in the water even tho our kids had floaties or life jackets on and in site the entire time.

#3. We adults Was accused of vandalizing park table because we had placed extinguished cigarettes on the table keeping them off the ground.

#4. Wasn't told any park rules when paying or after until into the second evening.

When being griped at for using the provided electric and water we was told the camp sites was equipped with. ( No mention of extra charge at the time of reservation for using it).

#5. Was going to charge us for being there Thursday -sun when we arrived on Friday morning at approximately 8:30am.

#6.Griped about two visitors showing up. One of witch was just there a few minutes to pick up a member of our paid group who had to leave early.

#7.Their website says they understand things happen and people need to cancel their reservations so they give rainchecks in regards to refunds.

On the second evening when we needed to adjust our agreed reservations and  was told ( ABSOLUTELY NO ! ).

Note:  At no time was we asked to or told to leave but because of all above mentioned we chose to leave that second evening of our 3 nights.

    Bugs bugs bugs

I don’t have many nice things to say about this campground. The bugs were out of control. The bathroom was out of order and a porta potty was set up beside it. The site we chose,#3, was the best site. We found some good trees to set up our hammocks with a view of the forest. 1 and 2 were ok, 4-9 were downright terrible. Basically a parking spot with a picnic area. All the sites were close together. The check in process consisted of a guy in an unmarked vehicle driving up and striking up a conversation without identifying himself. Check out works the same. If you have a boat or tv this park may be nice but I wouldn’t camp here. The hike around nearby lake Alma was the highlight of our trip.

    Laid back and friendly!

This was my first camping experience since I was a kid and I loved it!! Everyone was so nice, but also gave us our space and didn’t try and start conversation. It did seem to be kind of a lawless land- no markings or signs to mark campsites, check in, or anything. To this day I have not been asked my name or my confirmation number!😂 Our spot backed right up to the river, and he said we could trim up some branches to make it our own if we wanted. But there was a big opening to the river just a 30 second walk away:) It’s a suuuuper clean river that doesn’t go above your knees, so perfect for walking around and cooling off. One downfall is there is only one bathhouse that has only one shower/toilet/sink combo, so there might be a good wait. However, when we went it was mostly RV’s there who have their own showers and toilets, so the waits were never more than say 10 minutes!

    Good campsite, but not great

Check-in was great, this was our first time at a TT30 spot and found our adapter did not work.  A 50 amp spot was open and they were great to move us to one.   The site we moved to was great, 50 amp, 30 amp, 120v, and water all worked.  The Men's shower\restroom was good, the Woman's on the other hand had a door problem where stalls would not lock, and the outer door would blow open letting anyone look into the restroom unobstructed so my wife tells me.   She was not comfortable showering there, while I had a great time with hot water showering on the Men's side.   The only other negative would be the amount of Motorcycles at all hours of the night, but I guess you could get that at any campsite.

Camp Mode on the Tesla Model Y fully charged us from 20% to 100% with the AC on the whole time and 85* outside.

    Great View

Site 51 was the best view. Long but narrow paved spot. We couldn't back all the way up because the tree was too low, but the spot was long enough where it wasn't an issue. The water spicket was about 80 ft away, and unfortunately we didn't have an adapter for the 30 amp. Otherwise this was a great stay with a beautiful sunset over the water. Be mindful of a couple trees overhanging the way in, but we were able to get through without issue hitting any. We have a 13.5 ft tall and 45 ft long fifth wheel. Mosquitoes were pretty bad so be prepared.

    Quiet and clean

Was headed to Lake Fort Smith but area was booked so we stopped here and was pleased with our stay. Spaces are quite small but it has become the norm everywhere. Site A2 had fire pit, grill, picnic table was pretty level even with gravel. Fishing pond, dog walk area, propane station all on property for reasonable rates. Bathouse was clean and stocked. Only complaint was these little red mites. I looked them up and they are harmless but they were numerous and made us uncomfortable. I was especially concerned for our 2 dogs. I believe this is an old KOA under private ownership. They have done a great job updating the place. Jules at the office was also very pleasant and helpful.

    Easy stopover in Fort Smith

We stayed at this newish RV campsite for an overnight. It is located right along the river and is close to other attractions like Fort Smith and the US Marshall’s Museum (literally down the block). Our kids enjoyed the playground, outdoor gym, and pickleball - it was too cold to swim. There is only one bathhouse, but it was clean. The front office has a small store and the staff was nice. There are several restaurants within a mile. There was a gate at the front. There is a walking trail along the river so if your campsite faces it, there is plenty of people walking along that trail.

    Beware Racetrack Noise

This was a really nice campground with easy walks to some beautiful scenery! Flat pads with nice tables/grills/fire pits. Sites 3/4/11-14 have a lot more room so we’d probably pick one of those next time. There is a racetrack near by that was so loud we couldn’t hear each other talking from 6-11pm on Friday night which made it difficult to put our baby to bed. We’d love to go back but will definitely pick a weekend without a race next time.

I’ve lived within 2 hours almost 20 years and hadn’t visited. I’m so mad! LARGE, well spaced sites with two bath house within 50 yards in either direction.
