Worst service from a owner

I grew up attending the pow wow every year for 30 years and used to enjoy this place very much with my entire family. Upon my most recent experience, I have changed my thoughts about this place and strongly believe that it needs a desperate change of ownership. My most recent experience has been the worst interaction I have ever had with someone who claims to be the owner. It started with being charged $360 for a site that was for myself, a disabled veteran mother, and father in law. Upon finding out they charged my mother in law another $120 for 3 people on my campsite, we went to go get our money back. After explaining the campsite arrangement on one of the 6 sites we had rented and our overcharged site, she decided to get rude with my brother in law stating "she was a millionaire and he could get off her property bitch" all this said after he had asked her to stop being rude! Unfortunately, she return $30 dollars out of the $120 we over spent, The campsite was riddled with poison ivy my 2 year old and I both got, and my brothers site did not accommodate the camper it was supposed to as promised, and was only refunded $25 out of his $80 deposit. Needless to say Mrs Jennifer Settles AKA owner/ Millionaire/ Scammer has earned a A+ for the worst customer experience we have ever encountered it was such a honor to give my service for people like you!

Nice grounds, way too busy.

This location has great facilities and, if you get lucky, you might have a silent campsite. To put it simply, this campground is going to be WAYYY busier than most people are going to want, and could make for a pretty miserable camping experience depending on what you've set your expectations to be. If you camp here with your family/friends, I recommend reserving at least two sites side-by-side to give yourself the necessary space and to maximize your distance from other campers. Decent facilities, decent office, WAYY too busy.

Nice

This is a very nice campground! Definitely nice for a younger crowd! We hated our campsite rite buy the office, it was super busy and dusty from all the traffic! And the site were small! Loved the boat launch area! Not my favorite place, but I’d stay again

Scenic Large Camping Area

This park is fantastic because not only does it offer a large amount of more spread out RV hookups and campsites but also miles of hiking, mountain biking and horse trails as well as a canoe livery down the road. There are a couple waterfalls, a scenic overlook, fire tower, dam, pavilions, playgrounds and lots more.

To loud, to many drunks

We went for Labor Day. They had a band on Saturday Night, a DJ on Sunday. That is all u could hear thru the park. It was like redneck heaven. We will not be going back there.

Nice Get A Way in Northern Ohio

There is a nice lodge with a restaurant for people just looking to escape from the "city life" for a bit. Also campgrounds for sleeping outdoors with nature. Can go canoeing on the nearby river with canoe rental available and shuttle pickup at the end of your journey back to where you started. On grounds store to buy what you may need and close to nearby Loudonville for anything else.  Been there several times and have always enjoyed my experience.
