Amazing for tents

Tent sites along a confluence of creeks; ankle deep clear water. Amazing miles of upstream hiking, water holes, rope swings, etc.

Perfect for little kids and adults.

Short drive from Letchwood State Park

Tent camped, average

The site was a good size, but not secluded. Decent hikes around the campgrounds

Amazing tent sites, for Ohio

Tent camping sites were set back, in the woods, down a private path (about 75’) and totally secluded.

The park had a clean, nice outdoor movie theater, mini golf, and a lake with rentables.

Tented, not bad

The lake is great, and the sites were clean with a lot of bathrooms nearby. Not many sites with shade, so for tents it was strategic to not be in the sun all day.

Bathrooms were typical, maybe a step below average.

No real complaints, just not as great as others.

Sizeable pull throughs

We had a center lot that was fairly private. The whole park is right off the freeway though. Showers were coin operated showers

Deep and Secluded Camping

Our site was VERY private and offered a deep dive into the Forrest. Surrounded by ferns and few neighbors, this was perfect.

Beautiful Mt Rainier Camping

Sites were so secluded, silent, and beautifully full of nature. We had a great site that bordered a small gully for the kids to play in.

Awesome, Private Camping

This spot was a perfect end to our two week camper van expedition through the PNW. Clean, beautifully forested and private. Large middle area for kids to run and play with nature (sticks, moss, pines, etc). Within walking distance to an awesome farmers market, the town of Cannon Beach, and haystack rock!

Beautiful Lake views

If you get the right spot, you have essentially private access to the beautiful waters of Lake Huron. Clean beaches and large private lots.

Fun for Halloween!

Massive campground with multiple off shoots; Halloween is a must do here! Large and pretty private lots.

Fun Lake, small trees

Sand Lake was our spot and the water was breath taking - it’s a small pond really, but great for kayaking. Crystal clear, clean water, a good public beach. Our site had “private” access and our boys just played in the water for three days.

Clean bathrooms and showers.

Trees and covered areas were skimpy - trees were still young.

The campground itself was a small loop; so not so much bike/scootering unless the kids like a big circle.
