Good for a weekend getaway

Site F -90- there is a slope on the site with limited privacy. I suggest avoiding this site but there are quite a few other sites that looked nice and a stream flowing through.

Overall, nice.

We spent a relatively quiet long weekend here on loop F 97, which is a bit removed from the main campground. It was a bit noisy on Saturday night but nothing disturbing.  This site also is bordered by a small stream so expect mosquitoes and the occasional visit from wildlife (we had raccoons at our…

Looked promising

We wanted to stay here but it does not allow late checkins.

Nice quick getaway

Nice place. Only ever been during mid week and the place is empty which is nice. The general store isn’t always open which can get annoying at times. Bathrooms are clean, campground could use a little more attention to cleanliness but overall not bad. Great access to the beaverkill. It’s perfect…

Nice campground

Close to Cooperstown and within driving distance from Oneonta. Quiet and spacious campsites

Great for first timers, but not worth a second visit

While looking for a campsite that would play host to our daughter's first camping trip, we stumbled upon this place and managed to snag a reservation last minute. We are tent campers...can't speak to the accommodations for RV/5th-Wheelers or the rentable cabins.

The Good:

- The farm,…

  • Our can see one set of stairs down to the river in the back corner. The path to the beach cuts straight across the campsite to the left.

Very nice and clean, quiet  and peaceful . Spacious sights both shade and sun. Plenty to do, hiking, kayaking, swimming or just relaxing.

Right on the Beaverkill River, it's quiet, clean, gorgeous, brand new cabins and concrete pads. Fisherman's heaven. Can't wait to go back.

Great Camping and swimming

Awesome place for camping and swimming. Beautiful views and great staff. Each tent site has its own fire pit with a grate for cooking.

RV Mecca

We are camp newbies and I guess we didn’t do enough research because this place was a RVs and Cabin mecca. Our goal was to find a tent based camp site and then were eventually surrounded by RVs every where. There was one other tent customer. The facilities were awesome, staff great, River was…

Idyllic setting in the fall when the leaves are changing

This campground is at the north end of Otsego Lake less than 10 miles from Cooperstown. It's a great base for exploring Cooperstown. The Baseball Hall of Fame, Abner Doubleday Field and the nearby Ommegang Brewery are my favorite spots in Cooperstown, but there's such a diverse set of…

  • We had this place to ourselves when we camped near Beaver Pond in the fall. This area is only appropriate for tents.
  • View of the northern tip of Otsego Lake from the camping area of Glimmerglass State Park. We camped in our teardrop trailer when we had this view.

Huge without crowded sites

Groups of sites sit on level terraces stepped down toward the river. The center area of each grouping of sites had a common use area with tether ball, playgrounds, privies, or additional parking. Each site itself was spacious, and though individual sites may not be separated by trees, there are…
