Love it!!

Very accommodating, clean, private, spacious, clean bathrooms and playground area! Turned into my go to camp-ground and we stayed after the pool had closed for the season last year but we’re excited to go again this year!

New GO-TO campground!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Very accommodating, our family cabin tent is 21x17 feet so it’s tough to find a “tent” site level enough we don’t roll out the beds haha. Clean, private, spacious, well maintained bathrooms and playground area! This place has turned into my GO-TO camp-ground WITH MY KIDS and we stayed AFTER the…

Hidden Paradise!

We absolutely loved this little lean-to next to Bear Mountain. I'll make this review short, as we also stayed at the Brassie Brook lean-to which is located only about a mile apart from each other. The Brassie Brook was actually on the way to Riga and offers a very similar experience. Riga has the…

A refuge in the woods

We ended up stumbling on this campsite on our way to the Riga lean-to, which was a very happy surprise. We started our hike at the under-mountain trailhead, located right off route 41, and climbed up the mountain. Be prepared for steep inclines, and lots of rocks. After about a mile, you reach a…

Cranky old man

Great campground without internet, or a way to pay with your card. The host was so scared of my MEDICAL SERVICE DOG he made us leave. he seems to think he was mauled in another lifetime.

Superb

Quiet, clean enough and well worth the price. Showers are hot and there’s great water pressure. The cleanliness of the bathrooms depends on how busy the campground is.

Wonderful staff

Wonderfully kind staff, peaceful campsites and great hiking. Don’t expect much from the bathroom and shower situation.

A well-earned view!

It's quite a hike to get to this dispersed campground, so be prepared! We packed on our backpacks early in the morning and arrived there mid-afternoon. Very beautiful view, and an awesome spot! No fires allowed, however.

I didn't know what to expect.

I love hiking and camping. However the descriptions of this place in reviews here and elsewhere provided very little info and once I got out to the trail realized how different it was to what I expected. It is a near vertical hike the first mile with 90% or more being over rock gardens. Not some…

Good site!

This is cute small campground. Most of the sites are gravel so being extra pad foe the tent. The rangers were very friendly and helpful.

The view is unbelievable

If you enjoy the outdoors here you will be delighted to find everything you could imagine!! It is $40.00 a night tent but they do have electric and water at the site! Great experience...highly recommend
