Delta Lake State Park is located on a peninsula extending into Delta Reservoir. You'll find the terrain is wooded and generally flat. Year-round visitors can enjoy the day in one of many picnic areas, or on one of the many hiking and nature trails. There is also a boat launch and shoreline fishing for trout, pike, bass, bullhead and perch. Campers can enjoy 101 tent, trailer or RV camping sites and there is a sandy beach with swimming in the summer. For winter visitors there are cross-country ski trails.

Thanks to a grant from the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, a Hippocampe Beach/All Terrain wheelchair is now available at Delta Lake State Park to access beach and trails.

Pavilion Information
Delta Lake has ten pavilions/tents. Prices range from $50 to $200 and can accommodate 50 to 168 people. Check availability at ReserveAmerica.com

Pet Policy: A maximum of two pets are allowed in campsites and day use areas unless prohibited by sign or directive. Pets are to be supervised at all times and either be crated or on a leash not more than 6-feet in length. Proof of rabies inoculation shall be produced if requested by staff. Pets are not permitted in playgrounds, buildings, golf courses, boardwalks, pools and spray-grounds or guarded beaches (this does not apply to service animals)

OUR STORY

Camping for us is a way of life – creating time to slow down, living at nature's pace, enjoying family and friends, the excitement, the freedom...seeing the stars on a clear night, feeling the warmth of the fire on your toes, waking up in the morning to hear the birds singing or people laughing, and seeing those scrunchy, sleepy faces. Making these memories is what we strive for at West Canada Creek Campground.

The Campground, which is a privately owned by the Mouna Family, spans 17 acres with the beautiful West Canada river running through it. To top it off, it is at the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. WCCC as it is lovingly known, was created and built to focus on giving families the opportunity to go camping in the Adirondack Mountains, making memories that last generations.

The Mouna's have a passion for outdoor life. When they began their search for a campground across both Canada and the USA, they fell in love with the campground as soon as they saw it. They wasted no time moving from Ontario, Canada to make their new home in Upstate New York. Owning a campground has been a lifelong dream and it is now a reality. Having recently taken over, Jason and Imrana look forward to continuing to make lifelong family camping memories with you.

West Canada Creek Campground

We just opened our cabin again for the summer of 2022 after a pause during covid and a few upgrades! Enjoy a unique experience camping off grid in a sweet little sleeping cabin on our 270 acre farm at the top of the hill with breathtaking views and amazing sunsets, interesting and fun birdwatching, and at night incredible star gazing ! Our cabin has a twin bed, a fold out futon, a small table. and a cot if needed. Outside there is a small deck with two adirondack chairs and a fire pit. There is a bathroom with a flush toilet and sink in our bakery a short hike away. We also offer a portable small toilet in a pop up privacy tent outside the back side of the cabin. You are welcome to stay put or take a short hike to visit our artisan bakery or rescue horses. Depending on the day of the week you may be able to see our bakery in production! You can step inside and join us or just observe! We might even send you off with a warm loaf of sourdough. We bake on Wednesday and Fridays! While you are visiting be sure to enjoy swimming or fishing in our spring fed pond, say hello to or rescue horses, hike or bike on a near by seasonal road or in the state forest, or just relax and enjoy the beauty of this sacred piece of earth!

If you are looking for more we are 5 miles from a local state reservoir, 10 miles from a small college town with a local brewery, live music in the park, a farmers market, a movie theatre, two performing art theaters and an art gallery.

Many local festivals and activities within driving distance during the summer months. An open farm day event, antique show, garlic , cheese, and apple festivals at certain times during the summer/fall months and much more!



Off Grid Sunset View Sleeping Cabin

Enjoy complete privacy and falling asleep to the peaceful sounds of the Moose river.  This beautiful campsite, directly beside the Moose River powerline rapids, but don't let that scare you, most days the flow is easy to explore and swimming holes abound.  Enjoy the beauty of the Adirondacks or hike and swim at Agers Falls just a few miles up the road.  This camp site will not disappoint.

Perfect glamping getaway

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! 

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed with a memory foam mattress. The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. 

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. 

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

 - A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.

If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your confirmation email. Your Tentrr Host is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable). Other Things to Note:
Site includes a walled tent with a queen bed for 2 adults.  A domed tent is available for any additional campers.  Bedding for queen bed is optional (for a fee).  See Extras.

Parents with young children please be aware that the Tentrr platform campsite is positioned approximately 40 feet away the Moose River with a 12 ft. drop off.  This site may not be appropriate for young children.

Please Note: The electric company which owns the river controls the flow, but on the weekends they allow a natural flow for the Kayakers. Also when we get a great deal of rain, the river will rise a great deal.

You'll have full access to the tent site and 70 acres of hiking trails which connects to a larger network of trails that spans the Finger Lakes and continues west of New York.



Nature Lover's Paradise

Just a short shuttle ride from Turning Stone Resort Casino, The Villages RV Park offers a wonderful array of activities and amenities for RV enthusiasts.

Turning Stone Campground has 175 paved sites includes full utility hookup and wireless internet service. The RV park features nature trails, a recreational area for bocce ball, horse shoes, tennis, basketball and volleyball and separate ponds for paddle boating and fishing. A heated pool and hot tub are open daily from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend.

No matter what kind of camping you’re into; seaside, mountainside, lakeside, even city side, New York has it all. Some of the best camping in New York can be found in the Finger Lakes. Here you’ll find places like the Hickory Hill Family Camping Resort that offers themed weekends, as well as spa services, mini golf, wagon rides, and swimming pools. One of the more popular Finger Lakes destinations is Watkins Glen State Park, which has 19 waterfalls within a two mile walk. The park also has an Olympic sized pool, hot showers, and restrooms.


Dreaming of city life? The Hudson Valley region offers many wonderful places to pitch your tent. Located near the Hudson River, the towns of Kingston, Poughkeepsie, Peekskill, West Point, White Plains, and Suffern (to name a few) all have great areas for camping in New York. And, they’re all accessible by train to and from the city.


If you’re into small maritime villages on the other side of the Hudson River and the East River, Long Island boasts some of the best camping in New York. On the island, surf-casting, fresh seafood, and sandy beaches are plentiful. If you make it all the way out to the end of the island, a visit to the Montauk Lighthouse, which was commissioned by George Washington, is a must see.


And, if mountains are your thing, head to the Catskills, the Adirondacks, or even Bear Mountain State Park where you’ll find forests, hidden streams, hiking trails, and mountains galore. Whatever your style, you’ll find camping in New York to compliment it.
