We got there, the host wasn’t very friendly. We had to pay $50 per night for a tent site that was sandy mud. The facilities were nice and they had a pool and some other amenities. Somebody found a snake in there trailer so watch out for those 😂

Nice sunny spot, clean facilities, right next to a bike path that takes you directly to the beach which is about a 20 minute walk. Campsites clustered a bit and a lot of families.
Nice facilities, most of the walking trails would have been much for our little guy. It would be an awesome place to have bikes and cruise around. Nice beaches, an awesome playground, and you’re super close to Lewes and Rehoboth beach towns. We loved exploring them. Pretty pricey for a weekday we…

Spacious campsite, although the closest water spigot wasn't working. Not a big problem as there are plenty of others. Bathrooms were clean. Showers were a little spidery but kind of expected at a campground. Ticks were very active on this visit be sure to remember your bug spray and tuck your pants…
Great campground with lots to offer for families with children. Nice walking and biking trails. Trails and campground well maintained. Several beach access points and nice fishing pier. Nature center, historic military structures and watch towers. Very nice playground designed for varying ages and…

Not Much of a ‘Resort’
We stayed at Shady Pines MH& RV Resort for a one-night getaway just for the camping experience.
The park was easy to find and located just under 3-miles from the Garden State Parkway.
The front office staff person was polite and prepared for our…
We just stayed for two nights. There is so much to do that we did not even get to it all. We also went to Long Beach Island and were happy with how clean and quiet the beach was. We stayed in the 500 section which is close to a lot of the activities.
Nice weekend at a new-to-us campground, August 2020. Each campsite has a firepit/ring, picnic table, and lantern hook. Privacy depends on the campsite, some have more trees and plants than others. We chose a corner site to hopefully have less interaction with neighbors during the pandemic. We…
A beautiful camping area that is affordable, each site is very large, very clean and well maintained, bathrooms and showers 24/7. The camp ground area is very large and signed extremely well making finding your campsite easy. Bathrooms and showers can be a hike. If you can bring a portable toilet,…

Very nice camp sites. Pool looked amazing but it rained the entire weekend. Very friendly staff. Bath houses were extremely clean. Camp Store had a lot of supplies if needed.

Very nice camping sites. Very clean bath houses.
This was our inaugural trip with our new trailer! We were super excited to stay at Cape Henlopen because we had visited our cousins the year before, which is what got us hooked into the camper life!
We stayed in Row D - was a great location- nearest the cabins.
The play ground area is great -…
Well maintained campground and facilities. Lot of trails nearby, though some of the trails are shared with motorized vehicles/bicyclists.
Our go to State Park for camping as it is pretty close to home. Standard State Park with all the amenities you need. We are tent campers/ non electric (no pets/ no kids). So we don’t need much other than some privacy. Some sites are closer together than others though. Decent bathhouses. Town of…

I do not recommend this campground. From overpriced nothing special sites. To super tight streets. No campsite WiFi. Cable does not have any channels. Sites are nothing special. Security will knit pick rules and make new ones as weekend goes on. Changed noise time from 11pm to 1030 on Memorial Day…
