Nice KOA. There is a nice playground for the children and a pool with snack bar. Management was very friendly and helpful. We had a nice end campsite that gave us extra room with full hookups. The wifi was good and we were right next to a cell tower. They also had some nice cabins!
I stayed at site 239 (tent) which seems to be the least busy area. There are nice docks for fishing and boating. A nice closed off area for swimming, but not area allows pets to swim. Very polite employees. Showers are kinda expensive and expect to hear the tracks right behind the camping area. I…
Being from California this style of camping is not what I’m used to. Less full of nature, more weekend out of the house. Tents were on nice lawns and RV’s were stacked up next to each other. There was a very nice lake to cool off and blow up water park that was closed when we were there.
Middle Oak Creek campground has a row of 10-12 electrical spots that are perfect for shore fishing, kayak launch, lakeside views! South Shore campground sits lakeside but at a higher elevation so water access is trickier. Nice playgrounds at both camp areas. Free showers are a great amenity as…
Went there many year ago stay in a cabin for few day it was fun
This is a nice, quiet spot. Lots of trees. The sites are easy to access, and it was not full despite being a Friday in July. It is a good price for full hook up, restrooms and showers. Plus, collected fees go to local 4-H and FFA groups.
We selected this campground as a base for a family get-together near Omaha, for 4 days/3 nights (Fri-Mon). For that mission, it worked well, but overall we were not super impressed for the price. This was our first KOA experience so maybe the thing we noticed were "normal" but there were some…
Loved the hiking trails and all the green space. A little tight trying to back into our space, but very nice overall.
Night 3 on our trip from NY to CO. What a beautiful park! We will definitely come back here when we have more time to spend.
Amazing how peaceful the campground is in the middle of the week (not including the trains). Started filling up on Thursday evening but very understandable. Lots of kids on bikes having fun. The lakes are great for fishing. The swim area is always a hit. Lots of wildlife around as well.
This was my second time staying here and it wasn’t as nice as I remembered. Our site was filled with garbage and we had to move sites. Other than that it is in a great location and their bathroom/shower house has been updated which was nice.
It’s was the first time I towed the camper by myself and they were so helpful and made it easy. Nice campground. Proximity to the outlet malls is nice.
Close (but not too close) to I-80, we stayed here as a way point cruising across Wyoming/Nebraska/Iowa. Clean facilities, quiet vibe, it was just what we needed after a long day of driving.
We needed a stopover on the way across the country. Sites here are large, there’s a decent weekly rates, 50A, FHU. They keep the place clean and quiet. Not really a whole lot of amenities, but then again, we weren’t looking for that. 4 bars on AT&T, 2-3 on Verizon.
A very nice campground-- but beware-- the management and booking is questionable. They may try to cram 2 rigs on a site and charge you the same amount. Management was MIA at check in and rude about a poor customer experience that Victorian Acres created.
We had 2 sites reserved and paid for…
