Closed for remodel.

After discussion with City officials, the campground will continue to be closed until at least August 2020. This is an estimated time frame.

This is a very nice park getting better. With better water distribution, electrical distribution and concrete pads. However it is closed until May 2020 for this remodel.

OK

the campsites are nice and spread apart. There is a fire ring at each site and good shade. The lake is decent sized and there are kayaks, paddle boards and sail boats for rent. The beach is very small and rocky, the lake has a lot of algae this year and there was a fish kill so lots of dead fish floating. The roads are gravel and there was a lot of traffic causing a lot of dust. The bathroom had toilet paper the entire 3 day weekend! Overall, ok.

Very well kept campground

Just a quick disclaimer on my 4 star review. For most people this would be a 5 star campground however I gave it only 4 because I personally like campgrounds that offer more seclusion. This is a very nice campground. The lawns were nicely mowed, and the roads only had a couple potholes. There is a lot of nice shaded areas. Each site is equipped with a fire ring and many of the locations have a picnic table. There are a couple of the spots right along side the lake. There is a small playground for the kids across from some nice restrooms. There is also an area to fill water tanks before entering the campground. All in all, I would recommend this place to a friend or family
