Great nature, fishing, and camping park.

Arrowhead campground has 60 RV sites that support both 30 and 50 amp hookups. They have several well water stations to take on water and a sewer dump station. There also lots of tent camping sites. All sites come with picnic table and fire ring. There are numerous nature trails to hike ranging from…

Beautiful area, very lush, nice sites, electric only at site.

This park is beautiful, the only water supply is by hand pump on the way to your site so that is a negative. Good for an overnight stay when passing through, would be nice for multiple days if you want to visit the lake.

Hidden Gem

Great campground! Best campground shower I've ever had in my life, both in water pressure, heat and cleanliness of facilities. Be aware that it's first come first served. Sadly did not make it to the interactive nature center, but heard that its super cool. Lower RV spots are on a hill, be prepared…

Nice but loud!

Nice place to stay, green, nice Lil beach however, the train tack is very close and shook our whole camper. 😳 and take note the play area on the water is closed Tuesdays.

Nice, quiet spot.

Hidden gem. Just a few mins off I-80 but no noise or signs of heavytraffic. Cute, quaint little town. All pull through spots and all sites are level. Not all spots have picnic tables or fire rings but there were very few campers so we had our pick of spots. Playset for younger kids. Golf course and…

Something For Everyone

Pulled our pop up to the new Bison Campground. The sites are nice and level. If you are looking for shade or privacy this would not be the place for you, but the amenities are great! The campground offers free WiFi. The kids were able to stream on multiple devices with no issues during a rain…

Convenient to I80

A short drive off of I80 and close to Omaha, Eugene T Mahoney State Park is convenient if you are passing through NE.  It is a large park with more than one campground.  Since it is close to the freeway there is the constant sound of traffic.  It isn't intolerable, but definitely noticeable.  There…

A watch-tower overlooking the Platte river

This park is on a strategic upper ground to give you a birdseye view of the flat Platte river. It is also a resourceful place for bird-watching. There are numerous camping sites and picnic shelters. It also has a watch-tower which gives you a scenic view of the river and places nearby.

Cozy Riverside Camping

The park gets really busy and humming in Spring and summer given its numerous campground areas and proximity to Omaha. The facilities (restroom, shelter and trash pick) are very well maintained. One side of the camp area loop rears to the Platte river and you may get good views of the sun setting…

Camping by the lake

The camp sites are forked out like the cul-de-sac properties, each facing the road and having a large portion of the lake or greens to themselves on the back. It has plenty of greenery and is very well-maintained. It has a  very clean beach area, a boat and kayak landing area and many children…

Beautiful and spacious, but NOISY TRAINS

I tent camped in the old lakes part of the campgrounds. There are at least a dozen small lakes part of the grounds. The new lakes are busy and full of RVs. If you want a less busy area, find the older section.

Big beautiful sites, BUT there is a very busy set of train tracks that run about every…

Nice SRA campground

We didn't stay here just came through to see. $30 a night and an $8 non resident fee was a little steep for an electric only site. Clean well maintained. Showers available.
