Great for overnight boondocking.

Busy on summer weekends so get there early. River access but not kid swim friendly. You can walk or drive up the road for beach river access thats safer. Felt safe here. Well maintained. Large sites (trees) big rv friendly with easy loop gravel road. No verizon cel service. No utilities at all. Pack it in and out.

Amazing Campgrounds

Well kept campgrounds, and restrooms!! Best I've seen around!! lots of shade and parking, camp host does a AMAZING JOB!! We will be back soon!!!

NEED 4wd

I was able to get into this area on foot, but it is surrounded by private property. It is accessible with a 4wd vehicle with decent ground clearance, or on horseback. This area is has dispersed camping.

Great campsite

Have stayed here twice so far and love it. Price is cheap and they work off the trust system. They have electric and water camper hookups and tent camping. They also have a little bath house there too. Not 5 star lodging but the view over white river is breathtaking.

Well-kept and welcoming campground

This is a very comfortable and welcoming campground. It provides a great sense of privacy but also community. The camp hosts are very helpful and friendly. I hiked from McCormack Lake to here, which is only about 4 miles (unfortunately, though, some of the trail is quite overgrown.) However, most people just park at their campsite. Whatever you chose for your adventure, you’re sure to enjoy your stay. Highly recommended.

Stunning location

I have never camped here but visit when kayaking. You can access it from the river and it is a short walk and well worth it

Quiet

This is a popular place during summer months, fishing, vault toilets.

Old campground that is no longer managed so it is free.
