    Berry-good Time

Found this place on a whim through Missouri. Was looking for dispersed camping and not much popped up in the area. So campgrounds were next up.

This place already had a few good reviews, so I called them up. Immediately knew this was going to be the place. Super nice folks, clear communication, and even showed us the grounds upon arrival.

Lots of amenities for just staying a single night. Everything you need and want in a campground, but not a KOA or Yogi packed site.

Overall 5/5, cheap, friendly, abundance of things to do, and quiet (when I stayed).

P.S. Depending on which site you choose… the cost varies, but still cheap. There is lighting, power outlets, tables, fire rings and outdoor grill, along with many other fun child-friendly things.

    Great spot!

We were just passing through and stayed for a night. We had sewer, water, and electric hookup. A nice dog park, and even found some 4 leaf clovers!

    Nice stay

Stayed here for 4 nights during a visit with family. Park is clean. Staff is friendly. They make fresh pizza at the convenience store/office and will deliver it to your site. We were there 3 weeks before the pool opens so we didn't get a chance to see that. Nice park that's close to 1-44, James River Parkway, and unfortunately a railroad crossing. So you will hear a train horn on occasion, but no highway noise. We will come back here and stay again.

Nice primitive campsite in loop 1

Bathrooms were clean but dated. Water spigots were well spaced. Ticks were very bad. Family sites were spacious but laid out like 2 separate sites. Would have been nice to have both tables together. Tent pads were advertised but non-existent.

Off the beaten path, quiet, we love it!

Greeted by the owner and directed to our site. Once parked and hooked up, we were visited once more by the owner to see if anything else was need. Pleasant, quiet, and friendly experience.

    Secret Paradise!!!

Our little family of 2 humans & 3 dogs had THE BEST first stop in our adventures. We are terrible planners but The B Berry Farm welcomed us late at night and last minute. The whole B Berry family are great people. They helped us get in and told us all the fun & exciting things around the farm to do. The clubhouse is so convenient for any camper with supplies, games, lawn chairs to watch the sunset! Even if you aren’t going to see the lakes around (we didn’t) there is plenty to entertain you right on the Farm. There is an abundance of wildflowers, walking trails, chill zones, a water park, outdoor solar shower, bugs, a friggin Berry field. WITH PINK BLUEBERRIES!!!! They taste like cotton candy — you have to ask about them. There’s a store of goodies that we bought from on the website; we got some Mint Tea, chapsticks, massage oil, soaps, and deodorant because we’re total hippies and won’t wear store bought —- all smell AMAZING and taste AMAZING and feel AMAZING. Highly recommend. The weather was beautiful the whole time; bees buzzing, grasshoppers that look like a hybrid of butterfly’s, butterflies that fly in wolf packs. We left full hearted, happy bellied, and so thankful for The B Berry Family.

Pittsburgh Campground in Pomme De Terre

When you get here be sure to know which site you are at, the Hermitage site is right on the water but no water hookups, we set up “The big Kahuna” our rig here on the 30amp hookup with water. Nice and spacious. Peaceful and two great hikes within 10 minutes of each other.

    Beautiful, rustic, private, campground

Teresa was very attentive, guided us to our drive in site, gave us several options, explained the features, gave us a map, and was cordial. Also the price is way below average. Beautiful view of the stars since it’s out of town. Lots of wildlife and birds.

It was early in the season, but still, it would have been nice if the grass in the site had been mowed. Toilet and shower are more rustic than I am used to. But they have showers!

    Great place to stay

My wife and our children stayed here in the summer while we traveled for work and we were extremely pleased with both the grounds and the staff. They have great amenities and clean facilities as well as washers and dryers. They were so accommodating. The only drawback is a train close by. They have a small gated dog park and I huge open field. They have a seasonal swimming pool, kids playground, game room and few more things to keep the kids busy. Good WiFi and a shop that sells/makes/delivers pizza to your campsite. We will be visiting again in the future definitely.

    Next to rail crossing.

Worst nights sleep. The trains run through the crossing blowing the fog horns all night. On top of had a worker wake me up by knocking on my window at 8am to come pay as I came after hours. Then a guy cutting the grass on a ride on 5ft from my truck flicked a stone right into my door chipping the paint. Not to mention just had my truck which has been max $25 at every other campsite across the country but $50 here.

    Very nice, quiet, remote

    Very accommodating host

Quaint Berry farm accommodating RVs. Host met us with welcoming gifts. Our site had electricity and water. Not all sites do. There is clean public restrooms and a solar hot water shower. They have a game room available for all to use. They also supplied wood for a fire. They supplied s’mores kit as part of the welcome kit. There is a water cube that even the dogs enjoyed on this very hot day. We picked fresh blueberries and enjoyed the walk thru the gardens.

    Adorable camp

Teresa greeted me B with a smoked kit and complimentary lip balm. The solar showers are adorable, the whole camp ground is nice. There are trails and wood for Campfires. The honey berry hideout was my site it came equipped with a grill Andrea picnic table as well as a campfire and there is wood for fires around the property, I There is rec room area that I was able to use as a charging station. They have lots of little personal touches and best of all it was affordable, I can't say enough about how sweet they were. It was a pleasure to stay there. I wish there were more campgrounds like this around

Such a cute and memorable experience!

Stayed here on a roadtrip and although it is kinda far from a main highway, it's so worth it. Teresa is such a sweet host and the facilities they have built are beautiful. (The cedar shower smells so good!) We even got to pick a complimentary lip balm and the strawberry shortcake is amazing. Each spot is tucked away and very private, with a firepit, firewood and logs or homemade seats for you. Just keep an eye out and spray for ticks, I found one crawling on my foot while getting ready for bed. Just wish I would've came with berries better in season, I'll have to come back!

    Nice campsite

I stayed at the Pullin on over campsite, and it was nice. They supplied wood and were even nice enough to bring me some free samples of the lip balm and fragrances they sell. The site was pretty out in the open, and there was nothing too special about it. Overall I had a nice stay!

    Secluded rustic mini-resort

Brendan and Teresa are an adotable young couple who are transforming a large area in the midst of Missouri farm country into a small black- and blueberry farm that includes a small RV camp. They also make and sell natural products (soaps, balms, etc.). They have constructed a cute rec house with darts, corn hole, even a little reading nook. There is a swing on the big tree in front of the rec house as well as horseshoe pits. Dispersed around the berry fields are hidden firepit areas for guests to enjoy. And you can pick berries for your breakfast!

They have built an exquisite shower room with cedar walls and river rock flooring, and there are bathrooms for guests as well.

Brendan and Teresa could not have been more accommodating. They presented us with a goody bag with s'mores fixings and a sample lip balm from their product line. And Brendan helped us with hose repair parts when our water hose jammed on the reel and we had to cut it off! First rate customer service.

The drawback for us is that (1) it is FAR from the main highway so not convenient for one-night stays and (2) the one site suitable for large RVs is not very level. We have a 40' Renegade Verona and it took 6 tries to find a place near the hookups where our auto-level would find a good position (no "excessive slope" error).

Also, we knew from the start there was only 30 amp service and no sewer, so we can't complain about that.

But for smaller RVs and boondockers, this is a charming getaway for families and anyone who enjoys getting away from it all.

    Nice stay

We had reserved a spot that would have been too small for our rig. Owner had already caught my mistake on check in and moved us to a better spot. Shady spots, #22 is best. Full hookups. Cheap laundry at $2.50. Nice quiet setting and the owners are very helpful. We will be back.

    Great Stay

Shaded, great amenities, friendly staff, LOVE the pull throughs. I have a pop up that’s a pain to reverse. Almost all (if not all) these sites, you can pull through the actual site! Not the jsut the campground. 👌🏽

    Beautiful unique experience!

This place is wonderful and the owners truly care and do a great job! The farm is beautiful and trails are a wonderful walk through some beautiful nature. Me and my sister stayed for my birthday and had a blast. There is a bathroom on site and beautiful campsites with all that is needed for a great stay! Would recommend to anyone who wants a unique experience and to support local business with wonderful owners!

Rude, not kind or caring at all

We booked this site online the day before check in because it seemed to have decent reviews and would suit our needs for one night. After front tire blow out that we ended up on the side of the road for 7 hours with, amidst tornado warnings and severe winds, a severed hydraulic line and body damage, on the road the day of check in, we called for a late check in. Knowing we were going to be there late and needing repairs I went online to reserve a second night so we could stay over. We ended up arriving at around 2 am. The site seemed ok for the night. The spots were narrow and the trees tight for a Class A Motorhome, and the sites were potholed but we couldn’t level anyway because of our road mishap. Then the train started going by at all hours of the night and morning blowing it’s horn, was very difficult to sleep. When we woke up around 10:30 am, we called the office to make sure that we didn’t have to move. The host or employee we spoke to was not able to find our reservation and didn’t care at all to help us. We had let them know what happened on the road and she didn’t even care or pretend to offer a “glad you were safe” or anything. She “could fit us into a 30 amp” but that wasn’t going to work for us with our rig we needed 50 amps. We then walked over to the office to show them the check in email and screenshots of the reservation. They really didn’t care at all to help us. They were very cold and uncaring and didn’t even pretend to be concerned about helping. They obviously just wanted us to leave which We asked for other parks and they “didn’t really know”.

We ended up calling another park 10 miles away and they got us a spot right away, before check in and ended up being the nicest kindest people you could want to know.
