Facilities are top notch and private. The nicest showed and restroom you can imagine. Large tent pads and a quiet area. Not busy when we went. There is a small hiking trail as well. The lake isn’t anything spectacular, it’s quite dirty but we were only there for a night.
The little island group camp is a hidden gem- a whole island to yourself! The weekend was very cold - middle of May. But there was a lot of hiking to do. I'd recommend trying to snag this spot later in the summer when the lake is more inviting. But we did see lots of migratory birds over the…
This is a nice well-kept campground. That is a mix of primitive and electric only sites.. sites are spacious with most having trees between each of the campsites for privacy. And her in number of water stations in each camping loop where you can fill up your RV as well as an RV dump station that…

Lovely little campground! Campground host is fantastic! So accommodating & gracious. When we told her we were traveling with dogs, she put us in space 13 at the back of the loop. Nice large, quiet site surrounded by trees and a terrific grassy area. Very few other campers, so we were almost by…
We'll maintained and roomy sites. A very quiet campground. No particular activities for families/children.
Overall a nice place. It was very wet, standing water in the grass from lots of rain. Spot 105. Not much room between sites there and had to back turn around and back down the road to park. Memorial wknd, they had a very nice pot luck lunch and pork chops on a stick, all free and great food. Shower…
For free the area is awesome right by the river. We found a site tucked away from people which is what we like. We set up hammocks right next to the river. The hike from parking is not bad at all about a 10 minute walk from parking to the farthest site.
For a campground that’s not too far out of the way, you feel so secluded and hidden away in the woods. Its quiet and really easy to get some solitude.

This is a nice little campground, but it’s location (although convenient) right off the freeway is less than ideal. The background noise isn’t terrible but it’s always there. I like to camp away from civilization not next to a freeway.
This campground's sites and roads seem a little smaller/tighter but plenty of room for smaller rigs to maneuver.
The outer loop is non-electric and more "in the woods" than the center, which also helps provide a bit more privacy. The sites are still close together but we didn't have much noise…

Great campground on-site at Blue Earth fairgrounds. Very level site , everything works & is well manicured. Can’t beat it for $25!
We arrived on a Sunday and stopped at the Park Welcome area. We got the last spot with electric for 3 nights. Nice staff! Ice was available.
$34/night plus Minnesota State Park pass @ $8/day.😩
Not super spacious but very comfortable distance between spaces. Well maintained dirt road in…
This is a rustic state park with limited amenities. There are no water or electric hook ups. However clean water is available in the park. The park does have flush toilets and showers. We found these to be in good condition and clean. The showers had warm water. The water stream is on a timer and…

Plenty for kids to do and the staff was great
A lot of stuff there for kids, however pretty much everything needs works. Schedule existing for activities, however it seems thing start and stop whenever they feel like it. It seemed the level of drunk adults on golf carts ramp up around 3. Overall, if the rate was half the price it would of…
