Although you are nestled amidst the golf course, you can walk the cart paths before or after the days golfers," notes camper Carol W.
Lake Huron beach access: Ossineke State Forest Campground offers direct lake access. "The sites are tucked in just enough to eliminate traffic noise but super close to markets and fuel. Clean privy. Drinking water isn't the best but it would be tougher if there was none," writes Corey O.
Family-friendly activities: Campers Cove RV Park includes entertainment for children. "There are bikes, pontoons, kayaks, canoes and much for that can be rented and is pretty inexpensive. They also have putt putt golf which costs us 1.50 per person," according to Matthew E.

Lakefront sites: Black Lake State Forest Campground has two distinct camping areas. "The lower site is where we stayed and literally had a waterfront site. The upper has HUGE SITES and is shaded better, but cant see the water... Sand bottom lake, and the park beach was a short walk from the site," shares Sarah L.
Hiking trail access: Hoeft State Park Campground provides woodland recreation beyond the campground. "There are tons of trails through beautiful deep woods that lead out to various points along the lake. great paved bike paths to Rogers City and up north," explains RA S.
Quiet atmosphere: Many campgrounds in the region offer a peaceful setting. "What is also amazing is how quiet the park is. Even with families and dogs it's very peaceful and relaxing. The vibe is contagious and all the neighbors are friendly and considerate," reports Ron and Mary C. about Indian River RV Resort.
What you should know
Seasonal considerations: Many RV sites near Posen, Michigan have limited operational seasons. "Water is shut off Oct 10 for season. 15 Lake front campsites for rv or tent; Black Lake offers great Walleye fishing if you have a boat," notes Kristy W. about Onaway State Park.
